Months ago, when the bride and groom were planning the wedding, I went along with them for their first meeting with Presidential. All three of us agreed: their portfolios were beautiful, and within a half hour we had the best feeling about them. There was no doubt they could be trusted to do a great job on the big day. After seeing firsthand their devotion, warmth, and professionalism, I recommend Presidential Photography to anyone who's lucky enough to land a date with them. Once upon a time, I took an intro photo class at the Yale School of Art with a teacher I will never forget, who is a big-time fine art photographer. Alisha reminds me a lot of her. She has that magic quality of being able to put people completely at ease. She is obviously a naturally visual person and will capture those photos that other people don't even see. You can tell she is in the business because it's her passion, and you can't fake that. The team was very courteous, professional and made me feel at ease. I've worked with several photographers as a model, and those experiences were quite different (and much more stressful!) Booking an appointment was simple, and they got me into the studio within a week. It took me only 35-40 minutes for the entire appointment, and that included prepping for the shoot. They got the shots I needed (and then some). They knew the right cues to get the head shots I needed, and they made me feel photogenic. That, and the fact that I'm cheap and didn't think it would be worth spending money on pro pictures that I could "take myself," made me really leery on hiring anyone- which is why it took me nearly a year to do so! Boy was I dumb! From the moment Katie Ryan entered my home, I was not one bit disappointed. Quite the contrary! I remember thinking, almost instantly, how I wished we would've hired Katie Ryan Photography for more photo shoots rather than just our baby's one year photos!! Picture after picture after picture, my baby and her personality shined for the camera as she smiled and giggled and had a great time!
