I waited very long time to write this review. I am fond of her husband, therefore was not going to write this way over due review. Without going into so many details due to so many issues, I will just say this. Again, was going to hold my review until my $6000 wig feel apart. Yes apart. I bought it maybe 16 months ago. It now looks like a dishrag. I own quite a few wigs therefore, I know how to care for them. Very very poor quality. The hair on top fell out as well as hair on the sides. I waited 6 months for this wig. The first one was not measured correctly. She pushed me into paying the entire price upfront. Lol. Oh until we had an argument she also wanted me to pay for the color and cut myself. Lol. I could also attack her character, however I will stick to business only. I encourage you to all go to Milano hair on LA Brea. Ask for the gal who colors and cuts her wigs. Pricilla She can get a wig for you for quarter of the price. Do not be a sucker like I was. That wig and my experience with Amy will always be remember as one of the biggest mistakes I have made thus far. Ordered a wig for a friend suffering thru alopecia and I could not be happier...they did a web based video conference and helped my Friend properly setup her wig and she sold us something called a rescue bag that has all the tools you need to manage your wigs appearance and to be able to store it....she truly gave us a sense of assurance that things are manageable with hair loss if you get organized and deal with issue head on... I was in desperate need for wig advice, tried asking questions and she cut me off and gave me the phone number to one of her "stylists" whom didn't even have a voicemail set up yet supposedly this stylist is renowned and well known in LA. A complete joke, as a woman of color I'll stick to woman of color owned salons, they typically show you care and concern and want to help you achieve your desired looks. We began with such a positive productive phone conversation. I thought she really understood what I wanted. I don't particularly like driving to Los Angeles but After email back and forth I agreed to an appointment time that she suggested. When I arrived the front desk guy called her and then handed the phone to me. She says that my appointment time was later and she was in the middle of something but it's okay and she would see me. once I meet her I showed her the email. So she says , "oh, I f'ed up. The business seemed small and that's okay. I thought she had what I wanted. But when i reminded her that I was interested in synthetic she tells me that she talks to so many people and cannot remember my specific needs and that she has mostly human hair wigs. She said many things that I did not appreciate. Like my current wig looks like a wig. The f bomb. And she was very pushy. That's great that she was on television and has other reviews. My experience with her was less than productive. I left with out buying anything. Waisted my day and petrol. If you want any kind of selection vogue wigs in Orange County is far better. I went to created hair because I had purchased a very expensive wig from a different wig establishment that I was so unhappy with. This was my second time buying a wig after chemo. First time I bought it from a wig store and I really regret that decision now after getting my second wig from Amy. Getting it from Amy was a completely different experience. She provided me with a lot of support and made sure to ease my experience.
