This review is more for me than it is for you. I had wanted to try the Detroit style pizza here for…read moresome time. Tonight I finally did, and can say with confidence that for me, the juice was not worth the squeeze. The pizza itself is incredibly small, a square 9x9 personal pan pizza. Typically Detroit pizzas are larger rectangles. It also isn't as thick as other Detroit style pizzas, more like a focaccia. The sauce is on top, I'll give credit where it's due. The sauce is good, the toppings are good. Except the ricotta, which is weirdly stiff and obviously piped from a bag The order was ready on time and the staff were friendly. The building was cool, the neighborhood less so. I did not feel safe parking my car in a normal spot so I parked in a red zone closer to the door. I will never be back.

After doing our laundry at the laundromat my son & I were looking for a spot to eat. This popped up on yelp & I remembered wanting to try their pizza. Parking can be a challenge but trust me it's worth it. It is a very small cool spot. It gave me a garage party type vibe. With the turntables & vinyl records I felt transported back to the 90s. My son & I ordered one of the specials large 2 topping for $20. There were a few tables and we sat & devoured the whole pizza ourselves. Which really isn't a challenge for us we like to share pizza. Jerry was so friendly. We had a nice conversation & we both felt so welcomed. I can't wait to go back. It's hard to find a good $20 pizza that is actually good & made with love. You can tell they took their time making this pizza. I will definitely continue to support this local small business.

I figured maybe he was a cook or something. As this was my first time here, I wasn't sure if I should order at the counter or take a seat, so I stood at the counter. I waited approximately 5 minutes with no acknowledgement and walked out. There were no other patrons in the restaurant.

They also run a special words buy one get 50% off. I ordered the house appetizer so it comes with all sorts of foods, mozzarella sticks, buffalo chicken, wings, crispy chicken tenders, and garlic knots. When you drink ice cold beer and when you bite into the salty tangy garlic knots, it's a great blend of flavors especially from the crisp cold beer. I love how strong the garlic knots have that garlic flavor. The wings are good. I've had better wings elsewhere that were bigger or more plumper and more juicier, but it was good. It wasn't like knocked your socks off wings but it was a good order. I was satisfied what I ordered the wings again? Yeah I would and I would ask for extra crispy on it. I love how you're able to split a pizza into different flavors so you can really try all the pizzas so I was able to try four different styles by ordering just two love it. The Mexican pizza is the best one amongst all the flavors, it has a nice chorizo flavor. You could taste the crumbled chorizo on top of the pizza with the fresh, sliced jalapeños, tomatoes, and cilantro then the creamy cheese on top. It's a very good Mexican pizza and you could really taste the heritage. The Thai pizza on the other hand could've been better I wasn't blown away and to be honest with you was sort of boring. You can really taste the crispy crust and the cheese, but that really are the only flavors that come out because you can't really taste the Thai flavors. I mean it's a Thai pizza but it's missing the Thai flavors. It was sort of bland. You know I could taste the red onions and the green peppers so that was nice. It tasted more like a vegetable pizza. Now, on the other hand the house special pizza had tons of toppings, which I really appreciate you can taste the chopped tomatoes, green peppers, onions the crumbly sausage, the black olives so it's the house special pizza topped topped to the brim with toppings. I love how this restaurant does not go short on the toppings. There's so much toppings on it. You could taste all the value considering each pizza is over $20. I really liked to pastrami pizza you can taste the salty tangy pastrami meat with a drizzle of mustard. It really did taste like a pastrami sandwich because it comes with pickles on onions, pastrami meat so add that with mozzarella cheese. It was a great pizza. You can opt for traditional pan style or thin we ended up getting one of each and even the thin crust pizza is thick. It's not paper thin like Domino's Pizza so for those at like thicker thin pizza they'll appreciate it but for me I like paper, thin pizza.

They truly have been making quality pizza for years and they are not overpriced at all. They actually are decently priced considering how much quality they put into their pizza. The owner is also one of the people who will answer and take your order. They all are great people but it goes to show that even the owner steps in to help make your experience a good one and not afraid to get his hands in the game when necessary. You can dine in but space is limited, although they haven't updated the inside it's still decent enough to have a slice or two with a drink. For the most part everyone orders. You can have your pizza delivered or you can pick it up if you prefer. Regardless of how you order your pizza, I'd say give them a try ask about the current specials they offer or check them out online. They have great family meals that are huge and also decently priced!

** 5-Star Yelp Review for Bambino's Pizza (Carson, CA) **…read more Hands Down the BEST NY-Style Pizza in Carson!" Most importantly, delivery! That's not by door dash or uber eats w crazy charges! Bambino's Pizza is an absolute **hidden gem** for authentic New York-style pies right here in Carson. As a self-proclaimed pizza snob (IYKYK), I can confidently say this spot rivals slices you'd find in Brooklyn--crispy yet foldable crust, tangy sauce, and **perfectly melted cheese** that hits every nostalgic note. ** Must-Order:** - **"The Classic" Pepperoni Pizza** - Greasy in the *best* way, with crispy-edged pepperoni cups and a garlic-kissed crust. - **Garlic Knots** - Pillowy, buttery, and drowning in garlic-Parm goodness. Dip them in their house marinara (next-level!). - **Wings (Lemon Pepper or Spicy BBQ)** - Juicy, crispy, and sauced to perfection. The owner clearly cares about quality--dough made fresh daily, whole-milk mozzarella, and no skimping on toppings. Prices are fair, slices are **huge**, and the vibe is no-frills, just how a proper pizzeria should be. **Pro Tips:** Call ahead for pickup--it gets busy! Ask for "well-done" if you love extra crunch. Their **meatball sub** is a sleeper hit (homemade balls, trust me). **Rating:** (5/5) - **"I'd walk 10 miles for these slices."**

And the food from here was expensive in taste, and not costly either. What I want to eventually say, is that this place has unique pizza flavors, excellent service, moderate prices, and eye-catching ecore that makes the wait for the take-out order seem less, cause one can distract themselves with the cartoons on the wall. Preapre the brick pizza oven a review will be baked that honors this place with robust prose. I was celebrating a friend's birhtday. And the day got gone, without me really placing attention to the food I was going to honor him with. I had been invited to this place in the past (a Yelp experience) and I found the food good enough to remember. So I trusted that this place would somehow deliver cheese and sauce goodness to honor someone I consider a brother, from another mother. And to be honest, this place was close enough to be a choice option. But now the relatively closeness to this place is a plus, the food is the reason why I am going to go back. I surveyed the menu and I decided to do the Sausage Hunter, without the mushrooms. I realized that Sausage Hunter could be a name of a movie about a cougar gone wild. And the pizza was fantastic. The main flavor pop was the sausage. It provided meaty flavor and the fennel elevated the taste to Mozza-like quality. Not that this place can compete with Mozza that is not the point. More like the pizza of this place was unique enough to be called gourmet like the type you find at Mozza. And the pizza here was more accessbile in taste, price point, and does not require one wear shoes. One can enter here in sandals. I do not think I can do that at Mozza. Maybe. I won't try though. This place does not do itself justice with its name. Perhaps it can be called Piccini Gourment pizza to-go. Regardless, the pizza was a standout: White sauce, dollops of pesto, parmessean, mozzarella, and care. Hopefully one can see that these ingredients are not run of the mill pepperoni and olives. Even writing them seemed decadent and like I had enter a Nonna's kitchen on the eve where she was cooking for her only grandaughter's wedding. On this day, the sauce had to be white, in case she spilled it, it would match the dress. Imagine if she spilled red sauce on her white gown? Nonna's know what suace to make for each day. Since I rushed through my day I did not have time to buy plates, napkins, and forks for the mini party i was hosting. And yet I had a cake to provide to someone and also this pie. So I asked one of the workers, in a hushed whisper, do you mind providing me extra plates, and forks and napkins. And she was like how many? Anhe md I with a feeling of guilt I said 15. My inner person cringed. I got ready for the no, perhpas delivered in an italian accent. And the person who helped me said, I got you, with happy conviction. She did not make me feel like an ogre who pillaged a village of its straw and pitchforks to give utensils and comfortable seating for his ogre friends when he forgot to purchase these items on the way to the pit where the party was being held. Her behavior was attentive past the line of service. It was no wonder her name was Precious. I took a clip of the mural. It looked like a serious artist painted with crayons. It showed gelato and people about to kiss while racing to the center of a spaghetti strand. It had many things to see and wonder about while you waited like I said at the start of the review. So there was thought here, I think. What can stimulate people while they wait for their pizza besides their phone? Colorful images. It works with kids and cartoons. Why not with customers waiting for their pizza? This place will be on the rotation when i want pizza.
