They remained outside of our room untouched. One suggestion, the shampoo, conditioner, soap in the shower is hard to access due to the pumps wind very short. I hope they change the containers to be user accessible.

Even though the hotel was almost full due to a convention, she found a room, gave me a Hospital rate, and blocked the room for a week just in case my wife needed to stay in the hospital longer than expected. Years ago, on our first anniversary, I had booked a room here for one night prior to heading to Chattanooga. I had reached out to the hotel and informed them of the occasion and it being Amber's birthday. They offered to do some things for very nominal fees. I had snacks, wine and flowers in the room waiting and they assisted with a card as well. I believe we got upgraded to a corner room, which was beautiful. It was a corner room overlooking Big Spring park during Christmas. Amber got to the room before me and thought she was in the wrong room. She was blown away by the goodies waiting and again, it was super reasonably priced. That set the tone for our weekend and frankly, I've stayed at much nicer Marriott branded properties and despite having status, they didn't even come close to executing something like this despite the layup. We stayed here other times as well. One time in particular, we stayed here when attending a concert at Mark C Smith concert hall. We kept smelling something foul in the room all weekend. We just couldn't place the smell. On the last night we were there, I began investigating various areas as I had pinpointed the location. I opened the safe, of all places, and found someones takeout broccoli! Who puts broccoli in a safe!? It had stunk the entire room up so dang badly. Upon checkout, I spoke with the GM and showed him the pictures and shared the story. Without provocation, he offered some points for the issue. I appreciated that service recovery and offer of assistance. I know the restaurant inside has had issues but I typically don't utilize that space. The decor of the rooms are certainly my style and the location can't be beat. I can't think of a single time anyone working there wasn't helpful and friendly.

He approaches his business, which is that once he has the pick up location and drop off location he gives you a written estimate, which you approve, and then send him the pre-payment just like an Uber. After that, I got a picture of the car that was picking up my godson which I passed on to him. The whole process was quite seamless. Cost was around $68 plus tax tip. I paid around $76 total.
