What a fun place. Was my first time visiting Painting with a Twist. I didn't really know what to…read moreexpect so I was a little nervous however as soon as I walked in a felt very confident and comfortable. Our paint instructor was wonderful, greeted everyone as we walked in, made sure we had all of our supplies along while saying many jokes. To drink I decided to take a 50ml vodka & a 11.5 lemonade. Pretzels sounded good to snack on, I didn't want something that was too greasy or that had a strong odor. I was glad they show you and tell you how to do everything, was a lot of fun seeing how everything turns out a little different than everyone else. You can use a different colors as well. It was so much fun, we had a great group and the instructor kept us laughing all the time. Honestly I was so glad I didn't drink more or I probably would have had an unfinished project or one that I'd have to leave in the garage.

A group of friends and I made reservations because we like the painting, and it was a fundraiser for the an American Cancer Society. You show up about 30 minutes ahead of time just to get acclimated. Be sure to wear old clothes - they give you an apron, but paint will still splatter from you (and from your neighbor). LOL They have tables set up with all the easels and all your paint colors on a plate, and all your paint brushes in a cup ready to go. You pick a seat and start painting. They have an instructor up front that paints an example and walks you through the picture, and then there's an assistant that walks around and helps you one-on-one. Every so often, you take a break and they play fun little interactive games. We painted mustaches on each other and then whoever painted the best mustache and whoever wore that mustache got a prize. They gave away tumblers, coffee cups, shirts, and paintings, so that was a cool deal too. This gives you the chance to use the bathroom and one of their blow dryers to dry your picture before the next stage. There's a table along the back wall, and they do allow you to bring in food and your own drinks. There's a mini fridge, a bottle opener, and a corkscrew, so you don't have to bring any of that stuff with you. There's also a Rewards program you can sign up for that gives you points the more you paint. This was the most fun I've had in a long time, and you don't have to be a good artist to enjoy yourself. They also have a special time set up on Saturdays where you can bring your painting back in and work one-on-one with an artist to fix it if you're not happy. That's a really neat asset that they offer. This is a super fun place with really nice people. It makes for a good time with a group of friends doing something out of the ordinary. They also have darts, pin ball, and a shuffle board table so there is plenty to do. Some weekends they have bands others they have jam sessions. Have been to both and had a great time. The dance floor is a good size and very enjoyable. They also offer many other things like paint and sip parties, dance lessons, and self defense classes. The banquet hall is huge and rents for a reasonable price, including a full kitchen area. If you have not been you really should make the trip.

A fantastic evening team building with my community! I was finally able to compete in the battle…read morerooms! Each classic game was great to play and made me feel like I was on the real show! The pressure kicks in so that adds to the fun. I went with my fellow Yelp elite members so we had a large group so we played two rounds and ensured everyone got a a turn in 2 hours. The time really flies so enjoy every minute! A tip would be to come up with your best family friendly nickname so the MCs can call you to the stage! The two MCs were so welcoming and supportive of all of our members. They even made a few modifications for us who needed to be seated versus standing. That is a huge plus for mobility accessibility. The game room is not too noisy and all the words or numbers were large on the screen too for those with auditory concerns. The venue was very accessible and the restroom was gender neutral but I did not see a changing table to maybe leave the little littles at home. There is a room to set up banquet tables if you host a party to eat. They also sell juice, tea, lemonade, beer, seltzer, soda, and wines!

We played several different games, and every one of them was a blast. The space itself was really well done--it truly felt like a real game show with the lights, sound effects, and overall atmosphere. It added so much to the experience.
