I hardly ever leave bad reviews but here we go. This place has gone downhill since the rebrand to "Create Credit Union" instead of Clark County Credit Union. I checked my account to see that they hit me with ELEVEN insufficient funds charges totaling up to just over $300. Like any average barely middle class person I panicked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I didn't receive any emails, and my card was not declining even though I had it set to do that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went in person right after work (admittedly a bit flustered). I explained the situation to Christine and also explained that I literally have an app I can pull money out of my check early if needed for situations like this, and had I gotten an email or notification of ANY KIND that my account was in the negative I would have fixed it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Christine didn't apologize at all she just told me that it "wasn't a bank error" and so "there was nothing she could do."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband and I already felt uneasy about the rebrand of the bank, and that all the benefits of banking here left with the rebrand. We will be pulling the rest of our funds from Create Credit Union after I get paid IN TWO DAYS and we will be looking into another credit union. [[HIGHLIGHT]]These guys no longer care about their customers and it's honestly really sad. I have never felt more scammed by a bank.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] UPDATE TO THE RESPONSE: [[HIGHLIGHT]]NO! I have been a customer of Clark County Credit Union now Create Credit Union only a couple of years. During this time, my bank account was hacked, and Clark County Credit Union said my money could not be returned. Then in the last year whenever I go into the North Decatur branch, there seems to be an issue with my account. Each time the teller takes an inordinate amount of time just getting into my account always telling me 'it's a computer problem.' [[HIGHLIGHT]]But it feels very deliberate like the tellers are suspicious of me for some bizarre reason.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have never been arrested in my life nor had any problems with any other bank here in Vegas or any other state. And the last straw was recently receiving a letter that Clark County Credit Union itself was hacked, and my personal info may have been obtained. This after having my personal accounts hacked two years ago and the nightmare that involved. (According to the fraud dept at CCCU) My son was one. The scammers used CCCU's phone number, and Zelle to transfer funds. CCCU say's Zelle denied a claim & there is nothing more CCCU can do. "Early Warning Services, Zelle's operating company, confirmed a policy change back on June 30 that requires Zelle's 2,100 bank and credit union participants to reimburse consumers for what it calls qualifying impostor scams. Hello I am unsure who these emails go to but I am emailing about a few negative interactions I've had with this bank. I am in serious need of considerate help. It seems if I can almost never get assistance with errors on this account and it's gotten to the point where I had to leave work today as my body reacts very negatively to stress. Hives on my chest and my face due to what I consider reckless behavior on the banks behalf. On March 9th I called to ask if I had scheduled a car payment because I couldn't find anywhere online that said I had the payment scheduled. The rep I spoke to was pretty sure that she checked everywhere and there was no payment showing at all. I trusted her and I asked her to please note the account because I could not afford to lose my money if this happened to me again (because it has) March 10 I woke up and discovered that my account was overdrawn. I immediately called the bank because I have other bills to pay and this bank has charger me outrageous fees with no understanding as to what happened with my account. I have selfishly heard agent after agent tell me "well if we didn't do it we can't fix it" "if it's not our fault there's nothing we can do" "if it wasn't on our end we can't help". I have been in customer service for years and I have been taught to express what I CAN do. Today I asked the agent I spoke with, if I trusted your agent to be trained and knowledgeable why is it you are telling me I made an error and not addressing the fact that she didn't know the rules and misled me while I believed I was secure. To continue hearing over and over that it was my fault is so harsh and hurtful when it was truly a mistake I tried to catch by calling ahead of time. Waking up to those types of surprises when you have done your best to dot your i's and cross your t's is sad and hurtful. Hearing a voice on the other end telling you "oh well we will just take the money out of your savings" as if I gave permission for my mortgage to be taken is mortifying. I couldn't believe someone would so freely express to someone what will happen to their account after telling them over and over what they cannot do. Finally the agent comes back and says she submitted a claim and she was "pretty sure" id get my money back. She "didn't see why they wouldn't" and "it will happen tonight" empty promises to see you still took my money and never called back or gave me relief. I'm up right now. Fresh from working 9 hours. Moving a friend out of a domestic violence situation and going to night school. I'm unsure how I will sleep tonight because this bank treats me so poorly as a client. I brought my car to you guys to refinance in confidence and so far all I've received is poor treatment and road blocks. I need my money back for my sanity and to pay my bills so you guys don't charge me 90 dollars in fees ever again because I am a busy person doing my best to keep up and focus on the real world. I've been banking with CCCU for a few years, now. They've helped me build my credit and have always been such a pleasant bank, for me. I just went through Members Auto for the first time to buy a car, and I had the BEST experience! Doing your research beforehand always helps. I knew exactly what price range I could afford, what I wanted to pay monthly, and the kind of car that I wanted. Darrick was able to handle my application for a loan within minutes. And even though the car I wanted wasn't listed online, Tina was able to find it within a week! So, if you don't see a car that you like, let them know what you're looking for and they'll have no problems finding a car for you! Everything was so easy and pain-free thanks to this amazing team. "Bonus Checking account may not be the best fit." That's an understatement. I can't imagine a scenario where someone would want to pay a monthly fee for a checking account. I can name 5 banks on the top of my head that don't require a fee for a checking account. In fact, I work with 4 banks with checking accounts- NONE require a fee. I'm pretty sure that if it was clear there was a monthly fee, I wouldn't have signed up. I take partial responsibility for not asking and rushing through the paperwork to complete my auto-loan. When I call Bank of America about a fee that I don't understand, they usually refund me the fee due to the misunderstanding. CCCU will just keep your money and say "sorry... not sorry." Been a member for only 2 months and I cant wait to drop them. My checking account has been deactivated 6 times in that period and I was only notified twice about the deactivation, a 40$ purchase at Walmart they claimed was suspicious and they shut my card off . They blame it on Visa but they also say I cant get in touch with Visa and no one can explain what exactly is fraudulent activity. Also getting to talk with a supervisor is something they dont want, I have never got to talk with one yet, its great to have money in my account and they wont let you use it, stay away from these amateurs read more

Unfortunately i could not post a review without giving this place at least one star. It does not deserve it. This is the worst credit union I have ever dealt with. They charge for all types of transactions usually covered by other credit unions. I cannot transfer money with Zelle due to their transaction limits. EVERY ATM that they said I could deposit money into did not accept the deposit. This is also the only credit union I have ever dealt with that that charges a monthly maintenance fee. read more

Even after banking with Clark County credit Union for well over six years I am just amazed every time I do business with them. I started a new loan after my last vehicle was totaled and I had a loan officer named Gloria that was absolutely phenomenal, not only did she help me out and was extremely professional but she also was very patient and made sure I understood everything I was getting into. She went over every last option available and took her time explaining everything to make sure I had the best loan possible. I've been in sales for over 25 years and Gloria is definitely cut from a cloth they no longer use very often. Some people call it old school I call it professional and I just wish they were more professional people like Gloria to do business with. I opened an account with Clark County Credit Union last year. I also was able to get a car loan right away and the interest rate was several points lower than my previous loan with another company. Recently I got in a financial crisis and I had to move rather quickly out of my apartment. I was short of funds for the necessary moving expenses. I applied for a loan and I needed it quickly. Darrick is the representative who helped me. He made everything so easy and I had the funds in 2 days. I was so excited. I would like to make it clear this review is directed to the Clark County Credit Union Administration and Member Services, not the branch or branch employees. My husband and I had a checking account and two loans with CCCU.  As time progressed, we became frustrated with CCCU's policy of holding any funds deposited for 72 hours; our excellent credit rating and payment history didn't matter.  It didn't seem to matter whether it was a mobile deposit, ATM deposit, or a branch deposit. Since we transfer funds from other accounts to our CCCU accounts on a regular basis it became quite frustrating to deal with these holds. Due to this we decided to just transition back to our old CU account that we had maintained in Seattle where there are no check holds and the member services are more professional to work with. We transferred our auto and personal line of credit loans to our old CU. The auto payoff went smoothly, however the payoff of the line of credit did not.  When 3 weeks had passed and the payoff had not been processed we decided to proceed with a stop payment and reissue for the payoff. We notified CCCU that day what we had done and to expect a new check. That very same day, CCCU deposited the original check! This was too much of a coincidence and made us wonder if the check had just been sitting on someone's desk all along.  The second check was sent and posted in less than one week. CCCU charged us a $15 stopped payment charge when the first check didn't clear. When I called asking for the fee to be refunded, the member service rep kept arguing with me saying "they couldn't control how long it took to receive a check".  I finally got her to ask a manager and the charge was  reversed. Additionally, we incurred one month of interest on this loan due to the delay in processing on top of the interest for the new loan for the payoff. We have had a terrible experience with Clark County Credit Union. We are reasonable people and understand that sometimes things happen but there were too many instances of poor policies, ineptitude and lack of caring to let this slide. Having seen what we have, we could never refer anyone to  Clark County Credit Union. They are a small credit union and are run as such. As confirmed credit union people we have been extremely disappointed with CCCU and the service we have received and are happy to be back with our old credit union. read more

If your not refer to them by family there is a 50. Charge to join but it's well worth it. They have tellers with personality who also care about you and keeping your business. This location is also open on saturdays which is super convenient. I have finished cars through them and you can't bet the rates and easy process. They can even find a car for you and get it at a better price that you could do on your own. I have also used them to fine my last house, the down side there is they don't keep those loans so that one got sold to us bank. read more

I have to share my experience this week with 2 different CCCU EMPLOYEES... We purchased a car from Tina in (MABS) last week and what an amazing experience it was! It was nothing like going to the big car dealerships and spending hours and hours haggling over prices, signing a book of disclosures and just sitting there for hours. The process was so easy and fast we were just amazed! Almost everything was done online for convenience. Tina is not your typical pushy salesperson, instead she was focused on getting us what we wanted and it felt like she was OUR agent who was working for us. She was honest and open about everything with the car and our transaction. I already recommend all my friends to go to MABS to purchase their autos. Keep up the great work Tina!! Secondly.... We came to Gloria with what seemed like an impossible deadline with 2 separate auto loans that we needed to close on quickly and Gloria met the challenge head on and seemed to leap over roadblocks as they came up like a superhero leaping over tall buildings. She was in constant communication keeping us informed as to what was going on. She was so kind and patient dealing with us and Answered all my ridiculous questions.
