Desiree, the manager and Jasmyn customer service were 2 of the finest credit union employees my husband and I have ever encountered. Both helped us with a large deposit that needed to be counted and deposited. Jasmyn kindly offered me a chair. I have a cane and cronic pain. She noticed this and so thoughtful. It took quite awhile to complete the task and both were kind and so patient. Jasmyn oversaw the transaction with integrity and protectiveness. They took a stressful moment for us and made it kind of fun. We have accounts at other credit unions and the professionalism displayed here was far above the experiences we've had elsewhere. I went in to CCCU Decatur Branch for the first time since I joined to deposit a check, Joanna was a sweet, friendly and Kind Lady.

I decided to move my banking here based on numerous recommendations but I had a bad experience. I brought a cashier's check from another local bank - apparently those are held for 9 days! I was told by the manager that my funds would be available on the 17th and she walked away. I completed my transaction; the teller then said the funds won't be available until the 20th! Are there more competent folks at other locations? So far, I am not impressed and am having regrets. To be told two different dates within a matter of minutes is a bit of a mess. read more

I am really embarrassed to write this review, but I am really upset and need to post this. Actually, I really hate to write this, but I am really disappointed and totally let down by CCCU! I have been a member of CCCU since 1987 (that's almost 40 years)! I used to tell everyone I know how great the credit union is and how they have always come through for me. I have had car loans, personal loans, HELOC loans and bought 3 or 4 cars from them through their Members Auto. I have never been late on any of my loan payments as they have always been setup for automatic payment withdrawal. I also have savings account(s) and CD"s through CCCU. The credit union is literally the ONLY place I have banked for 38 years! I remember going inside CCCU and actually telling the tellers how much I love my credit union. I have a favorite teller over at the Tenaya branch (Marin) who always brightens my day and helps me as needed. This review has nothing to do with her. Before I retired from Clark County the credit union was doing little write up stories about certain long time members. I was chosen and so excited to share my feelings about the credit union I had come to love. They posted my story and a photo of me holding my old credit union membership cards. I got lots of compliments for my story. Before both of my sons were born I started them a CCCU savings account. My sons are now 33 and 30 and still have those accounts! They were raised knowing their mom loves the credit union as I always spoke so highly of them. They are both married now and guess what?...their wives have accounts with CCCU. In fact one of my daughters in laws mother asked me to help her join! Of course my husband also banks with the credit union and has done many transactions with them as well. I retired in 2017 and my husband still works. We do pretty well and since our kids are all grown up and gone I started thinking about getting a convertible. I had one in the past and really loved it, so I actively started looking. I had a current loan for my 2019 Santa Fe XL with CCCU, but advised I had a buyer. I found the car I wanted and with an 850 credit rating I figured I would have no problem. I was telling the dealer (in California) how my credit union would approve me and we would go through them. Imagine my horror when I was DENIED for a $22,000 loan! I couldn't believe it! Talk about being embarrassed. What a let down the car I had been searching for was available and I was NOT approved for the loan. The dealer I had been talking to pretty much moved on and sold the car I had hoped for immediately! I called the credit union to find out why? I was so irritated, but I'm pretty sure I was told I have too many open accounts or something like that. Whatever! I decided to put my plans on hold for awhile. Then I was looking at cars and found another car I was interested in but this time I didn't even ask the credit union. I went through Lexus who approved me immediately! My payments are reasonable, I purchased GAP and an extended warranty with them as well. I am very happy with my purchase - thanks for nothing on this one CCCU. So, I lost the buyer for my 2019 Santa FE and decided to keep it until I got a fair price. I owed $12,000 and started looking, I thought hey I'll try the credit union and see if they want it since I have the loan for this car with them. I was over at the Windmill branch and inquired how this would work. I was told I had to speak to Mike and he would be right back. My husband and I hung around until Mike was free and I told him what I wanted to do, He said oh sure, we'll buy your car. He then went over to my car and checked it out thoroughly. He told me he would contact me later in the afternoon...well, that NEVER happened. I called him back a day later and he hardly remembered speaking to us. Then he said Oh, yeah I do remember, didn't your car have a problem with the steering or wheels?... I said what are you talking about?. There's absolutely nothing wrong with my car! I get it serviced as necessary at the dealer and it has never had an issue with the steering and/or wheels. Then he offered me $8,000 - knowing good and well it's worth more than that and I owe more than that! Thanks again for nothing CCCU! Well I checked with Carvana and I'm selling to them! They are paying off my loan with CCCU and I even received a bit of spending money. Maybe it's time for me to look for a new place to keep my money! read more

When I moved here in the 80s as a nurse, I joined the Clark County credit union. They have continued to excel and all my banking and financial needs. I bought our last car there through the Clark County auto program and OJ was fabulous. Helped us find the exact car we wanted Took care of our trade-in even put the new plates on our car. I have my checking savings visa, and money market accounts there there is always exceptional, professional, and courteous representatives last week when I went to take care of some businessJazmyn was so professional and personable. I was so disappointed in this bank. I tried to switch from wells fargo where I had been for many years after some of their questionable practices. We were told that even though clark county only had a few locations.We could do online with everything and use atms all over the country. We have had a joint account with my father.In law where we have p o a with wells fargo for 7 years. Come to find out with clark county credit union.You cannot open a joint account if they do not have mental capability.And if you have p o, a, everything has to be done in the branch by one p o a, and they do not allow two poas. This made it impossible for us to manage my father in law's finances for care. Time to change banks yet again. This sucks. read more

Customer Service has reached new lows. First of all, I was charged a wire transfer fee without being told. On the same day every branch computer was 'down' and I wasted time traveling to two branches throughout the day to conduct business. Then the representative on the phone was very rude, repeated the exact same thing 5 times until I finally asked her to STOP talking to me like I was a child. I prefer banking at Credit Unions but Clark County needs to up their game or I will be moving my business elsewhere. read more

After 8 yrs with our other bank, and being treated pretty badly for inquiring about a secured loan. (Was adamantly told they do not offer that type of loan, which they do because we had just paid one off) We found CCC. Customer service was fantastic! It was a long process to change over our social security deposits. ( takes two months before SS will deposit your check into a new bank). So after two months my check was deposited, on a fri, which is normal. However CCC holds the check until Wed . No other bank has done that to us. If the check goes in on fri, you can access the funds on fri. Had we known that was their policy, not sure we would have opened new accounts. We now have to wait 5 days to access our funds. I understand that technically, it clears on wed, but as I stated, no other bank we have had, has done this. I had no idea. That is my main complaint, the branch is wonderful, the staff is great, you even get replies to your emails! Just do not get why if you have enough to cover your SS check in your accounts, why they hold it? read more

What a difference between this bank and my previous credit union (PENFED). This bank does things fast. Also, when you call, they actually know what is going on. This is a horrible bank. Their hours are inconvenient (they have no Saturday hours) and it takes forever to complete a transaction inside the branch. They will block your online access for no reason and leave you no option but to visit the branch to make a loan or credit card payment (their phone support also cannot accept payments on the weekend). If you work and have to visit the branch during lunch, be prepared to be late returning to work. Their interest rates are good, but their customer service is horrible. Just finished working on an Auto Loan for a 2024 Tesla Cybertruck. Needless to say, the transaction on the non-human, app driven Tesla side of the deal was very complicated and frustrating. I've been banking there for over 10 years. I switched car insurance about 10 months ago. CCCULV has my car loan. I switched car insurance 10 months ago. Last July CCCULV starts charging me random hundred dollar charges for being uninsured. I contact the bank and share my insurance with them. Then they tell me they need to be listed as the lien holder, they are but I send them the dec sheet with them listed as the Lienholder. Then they change their story again. They've charged me over $1000.00 and won't refund me. Then they charged me another $100 dollars last night. These theives don't care. I'm fully insured, the bank is listed as the lien holder but still theyvrob me every month. read more

I opened an account in 2018. Since then their service has declined. I now get charged a monthly fee for a basic checking account, even when I have direct deposit twice a month. They don't waive fees as a courtesy, even when you make a deposit the same day. You used to be able to message member services and get great customer service - now they respond like robots with generic replies and don't address specific questions. There are no incentives to purchasing a second car after you have had an auto loan with them. Moving my direct deposits to another bank and looking elsewhere for a car loan. read more

I recently moved from California to Nevada. I was using my CA bank while here and was starting to get tired of paying all the fees at the ATM and not being able to get cash in anything other than a $20. I finally decided to visit CCCU to get an account started. I'm not going to lie, when the teller took me to a private room with a computer screen and camera, I was a little annoyed. I thought I was going to have to talk with either a robot or a CSR who hated their job. What I ended up getting was Tyler J. Dude is a prime example of someone who is great at their job but also genuinely personable. Tyler made the process so easy and as quick as it could be. He never made me feel pressured with upselling but I could tell he also truly believed what the offerings were. I was in and out with a new account ready to go. If I had to call customer service for any company and knew I would get a Tyler, I wouldn't dread it haha! I am looking forward to banking with no fees at the ATM. read more

"Early Warning Services, Zelle's operating company, confirmed a policy change back on June 30 that requires Zelle's 2,100 bank and credit union participants to reimburse consumers for what it calls qualifying impostor scams.
