This is my second review of this Church because they asked me to take the first one down.
I live 3 minutes from their building and everytime I drive past it, every day literally, I feel upset.
I started going here last year with a friend and my Wife and we bought in. Great seeming pastor, good message, lots of energy. Good feelings!
And then about a month before Covid hit, my life took a massive turn and I reached out to them via one of their cards they pass out.
My wife had stopped talking to me entirely. No reason given, she still lived with me, but refused to interact or converse and would not give me a reason. (unnanounced, she moved out in late May and I have no idea where she is)
I got no response from Create, and just carried on until about 2 weeks later a youth pastor called me just to check in on me. He had no idea of my issues, he was just making a friendly call.
I described my situation and told him I needed someone to talk too, and he made promises about keeping in touch, and getting someone to call me who might have input.
But he didnt.
A week later I texted him and he said OOPS I forgot, im working on it, ill send literature and have someone call me.
But he didnt.
2 weeks later i sent the Create staff a message on Facebook Messenger and asked if I had done something wrong, and LO AND BEHOLD I got a call within minutes from a senior staff member.
I was so happy to have someone to talk too spiritually, until the words, "I want you to know we are praying for you, even though you sent us that FB message" came out of his mouth.
I had to send you a FB message to get a response and I'm lucky you are still praying for me?
I literally told this guy my situation was so bad that I was having to keep my guns in my car so my wife would not get to them, (I had to call the police on her one night because of threats), or I'd be tempted to do something stupid myself.
He told me he would follow up with me the next day.
And never did.
I called him and talked to him about a week later, and he made more promises, and never followed up on any of them.
So I called the church and left a VM asking for someone to talk too.
I got a call back from another church leader who told me he would follow up.
And never did.
So I wrote a review of what was going on and posted it.
And LO AND BEHOLD I got a phone call from the last church leader!
He told me how awesome the other 2 leaders were and they could not possibly have done what I said they did, and he was different, he would help me.
And please take my review down and could I come by the next day to visit him at church.
I took it down.
The next day I went to meet him at church and he and the second Church leader were there. He again sung the praised of leader 2 and then leader 2 let me know how upset the church was with me because I was giving them such a headache.
I got a bit mad and asked them why I, a believer in Christ Jesus and a member of their church, was finding it so hard to get in touch with a single Godly Create Church leader who gave a damn about me?
I'm a lamb crying out in a flock and the shepherds are telling me to shut up.
They made promises.
They never did anything else.
About a week ago leader 3 called me. He was randomly checking on people who had not attended? in a while and I reminded him who I was.
He was very happy to get off the phone with me.
I hope your experience here is better than mine has been.
