While there, I went shopping & saw an AD for snow tires that were on sale in the store. I went back to ask about getting those & was told that those were the ones that were being installed. So they did not try to put on ones that weren't on sale which means they operate ethically. They then set a follow-up appointment for the following week. Normally, I shop in the grocery section or in the pharmacy & get excellent service when I need help. I will continue to use the auto section when I need to. People on the staff are usually all smiles when I greet them.

My son and I have frequented there often for birthday presents, special occasion and gift items. It was such a blessing for us both to furnish some of our apartment together where most of the special and unique spiritual items we purchased from Earth and Sky Connection. I got to know the ladies a little bit over the years who work there. It has been a delight and a rare treat to get to know each other and develop a professional relationship with them, my son feels the same; -It's a rare and special place for him to go, he usually uses the drums and the chimes, while I chime away talking and asking questions about certain items to purchase in the near future about the meaning and purposes of the pieces of jewelry. My favourite is the Lapis Lazuli' and the other crystals, have done wonders for my wellness with insomnia and panic attacks. After my first healing session with Shonna and Brianna, I let go of so much that I was holding on to, hurt, pain, regret, and some ridicule, shame and other more private areas of my past life. Shonna worked with many instruments that I heard of, but never had the experience of receiving; until then. I do love crystals and incense, tarot cards and so much more. The ladies are great, they even help me curb my spending when I say I need to at that point, other times, I can purchase to the delight of my soul and esteem. I know I waited a long time to make such decent purchases on my own, without having to worry about. It has been a beautiful experience for my son this past year to develop his spiritual essence and also help me pick out beautiful items for our home to make it a home for us, just him and me. The staff has helped me, through some trying times. Being new to Barrie, thought we found ourselves very comfortable in our home. Knowing I met some very smart, spiritually centered and gifted healers. Since then, I knew for sure and without a doubt "that spiritual health is extremely important, just as is physical and any form of internal wellness or dealing with any surmountable contact." I enjoy going in, for so many reasons as the team of ladies, never lean into "hard sales" That type of sales mentality turns me off as a smart shopper! They really know what there doing in terms of personal and professional business. They are discreate as what is said in private in any area of this establishment is always treated (as any good healer would as sacred.) -Thankfully this is a blessing. However... every time I've been in here recently, I've been extremely disappointed by the rise in prices. I know 'thrifting' has become a trend especially on social media, and VV seems to be riding the wave by doubling, even tripling their pricing! VV seems to be crazy inflated on tommy hilfiger, zara (nobody is paying $15+ for USED Zara btw) and brands they think are still popular. I saw a lululemon bra new with tags, and the sale tag said $34.99 and VV was selling it for $35.... also you can go to the shoe section and see ratty used ritz carlton slippers (that are free with a stay...) are selling for $10 - LOL For a place that receives all of their items FOR FREE, the prices do not make sense at all. Go to an independent thrift store or a smaller chain, and you'll find way better prices. With inflation in Ontario the way it is, people who actually depend on thrift stores to survive simply cannot afford to. When it is cheaper to shop at places like urban planet/shein, fast fashion will always prevail because why would someone choose to buy used clothing for MORE than a new piece (whether it be sustainable or not).. also for these prices, the free donated pieces will not end up selling and as more pieces come in, where do you think those overpriced pieces will go to? Exactly the place where we were trying to avoid by donating in the first place.
