This review is specifically for their Lincolnton location, I can't speak to the Dallas location…read more I don't like giving a company negative feedback unless they are completely out of line. R&R Powder Coating (Lincolnton location) has offered me the worst powder coating I have ever experienced. The powder coating from day one has been super sensitive like it did not adhere to the material. I had a brand new bumper delivered right from the factory to their office. They "powder coated" everything I requested which was good. However, this stuff has been coming off in specs with light touches and even shows signs of rusting underneath the powder coat (pictures with the light grey vs. black). I would have been better off just using a high quality spray paint. Now some might say that I dinged it and yes I have in a few spots and those places I didn't takes pictures of (even though they were ever so lightly dinged by a tool tapping on them during assembly). One spot specifically in the attached picture is not something I would have ever touched and it is rusting. I have a front bumper I got powder coated by a different company (for 1/4th of the price in Arizona $150 vs $600+), rock sliders by a different company, and both of these things have literally been through rough stuff with no issues. I scraped my rock sliders pretty good against a rock one time. Got home and touched up the spot that got hit and has been good ever since. We stand on those rock sliders when we have mud, dirt, and everything else on the bottom of our feet with no issues. If the rear bumper so much as saw anything near this kind of treatment the power coating would have come off. I reached out to the company and they want me to pay for it to get stripped and powder coated again saying these spots are my fault (I would be happy to make a video for whoever wants it to show the discolored paint has rust underneath the paint. I guess that is my fault as well. My vehicle has seen the rain). It has been on my vehicle for 1 year and has been worse since day 1 compared to any other powder coat I have ever got done. Save your time and money and go with someone else that stands behind their work. Now I need to go find another company that stands behind their work.

I acquired an antique Oldsmobile a couple of years back that was a creampuff and all original -…read moreright down to the spare bias ply double ring whitewall tire mounted on a GM 5-lug 14" steel rim. The tire and rim parted company after 50 years together and I took the rim to R&R to have it powdered to match the body color. After a search of colors, we decided on one that most closely resembled what I had in the lacquer paint and they nailed it! They do all my auto work and I highly recommend them!
