This is the owner's wife of CRC Concrete Raising Corp responding to Randy L's review of our company. Note - nowhere does Randy L state that he was unsatisfied with the job that CRC did for him (even though that should be what a company review from a customer is about) - he's merely upset with the fact that he was expected to pay for our services. Randy L neglects to tell you that our contract terms that he signed says "balance due on completion - and ALL discounts will be forfeited if not paid within 7 days of the terms of payment." Randy L also neglects to tell you that I sent him a letter 14 days after we completed his job reminding him that he was given a sizeable discount for prompt payment upon completion, but he could still take the discount if he paid his invoice upon receipt of my letter. Randy L also neglects to tell you that I sent another letter 7 days later stating he is losing his discount, but if his check crosses in the mail, we will still honor his discount. It wasn't until my third letter 10 days later that Randy L decided to make a very unpleasant call to this company. Randy L states he was 3 weeks late in paying his bill, when in fact it was 5 weeks plus. Randy L states that I wouldn't meet him half way on the discount but neglects to tell you that I still allowed him to take a $63.00 discount he was not entitled to and waived finance charges of $6.45 just to amicably settle the account. I now regret making the kind gesture after seeing Randy L's appreciation in his review. Randy L states that he is totally at fault, but shifting the blame to CRC obviously made him feel better. In short, Randy L is the type of customer that makes businesses look bad. It's really a shame. Please note, it was easy to figure out who Randy L was, as out of our 2879 customers in 2015 he was only one of three customers we took the prompt discount away from for non-payment as agreed. I wonder if Randy L takes expired coupons to the grocery store and demands that they still honor the discounts??? read more
