    Breaded tenderloin sandwich

Wow! We'd driven by a few times...this time decided to stop after seeing many cars in the parking lot!! Sure glad we did! Love mom & pop cafes where the locals eat!! This place didn't disappoint! We each had the breaded tenderloin sandwich.. they were gigantic & lightly breaded...and not dried out! Next time we're gonna come for breakfast!!

Chicken fried steak! Mashed tators and white gravy! Yummm!

Ya know it's gonna be good when it appears "well loved" outside and there are loads of cars! Finished soccer tournament and yelped and this place had loads of great reviews! We had the burger and chicken fried steak! It was a home cooked burger and very tasty! The chicken fried steak is something I always try when it's on a menu! This one did not disappoint! Almost as big as the plate! Flavorful and paired w mashed tators and gravy' it was a dredging delicious meal!

The other waitress was kind and gentle and took our order fast. The order arrived fast the food was delicious. The sausage links were very good. The fried potato country potatoes are very good with paprika just enough seasoning eggs and toast. Perfect coffee, wonderful amazing endless supply of homemade desserts from banana pudding coconut cake looked very tempting.

Nothing fancy just plain good cooking and very friendly service. Obviously a popular spot for locals.

OK they finally got me. The food was spot on this time. Service was fast. I think I got here before I got too crazy. I really enjoyed my time. I know they need some help seems a little shortstaffed, but I absolutely recommend the spot.

The place is a sweet stop. I ordered the blackened shrimp and cheese grits. They were soooo good. I added a bunch of hot sauce and they hit the spot for lunch. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary and chicken fried steak. It was very flavorful and very filling. The key lime pie was excellent. The four of us shared one slice a la mode. Definitely loved the service. She was patient with us and quick and accurate.

Even though they have a pretty small menu, similar to most golf club restaurants offer, the Lost Key Restaurant (now known as Grille 625 at Lost Key Golf Club) has a slightly larger menu than normal. The Lost Key Burger (made as a smash burger) is my go-to lunch when I am looking for something that is filling, fast, and affordable. They have a full bar, including liquor, wine, tap or can beers, and fountain or canned sodas. They also will run lunch specials fairly regularly as well as dinner specials from time to time. The staff here has always been great, whether it's the bartender or chefs. There has been some turnover in staff recently, but both the old and new staff are great. Lexi is one of our new favorite bartenders during the week and Victoria is our favorite Sunday Brunch bartender. If you want to try out a high quality golf club restaurant, check out Lost Key Restaurant.

We arrived around 10:30 on a Wednesday morning and we were wrong to think that the place would be empty after an early breakfast rush. We were seating upon entering by Brooke who also was our server. The menu is varied and we found out that you can order anything at anytime. We had ordered the Spicy Pulled Pork omelette and Shrimp and Grits. Next time, we're thinking a Grouper sandwich as they were being enjoyed at two tables next to us and looked delicious. Our breakfast entrees arrived quickly. The omelette came with a choice of side and I chose the potatoes. They were seasoned but a bit cold and hard. Brooke offered to swap them out when checking on us, but by that time, I was filling up from the large packed omelette. It was filled with pork, peppers, onions and cheese with more spicy, sweet pork on top. I wish the entrees came with toast. The shrimp and grits were served over gouda grits as requested and the dish was spicy and filling. Definitely one of the best we tried in a while. Drinks were refilled promptly and Brooke took care of her guests quickly and with a smile.

The Point is a laid back, casual joint with seating for groups of any size. There's plenty of parking out front, out back, and across the street. The space is charming and homey. Since it was a Wednesday, we were given a generous military discount of 50% off appetizers so we couldn't pass on the potato skins. They were delicious. We also received 10% off our entrees. It was so nice to be recognized for our service. For my entree, I tried the blackened triple tail and it was fantastic! For my sides I had a baked potato and coleslaw. My better half had the country fried steak and he was so very pleased. He also tried the onion rings and enjoyed them greatly. The service put this experience over the top. All of the staff are friendly and efficient and made us feel so welcome and at home. We have been recommending The Point to everyone else we have met in town. We decided to come here based on the reviews of other Yelpers and it did not let us down! The atmosphere is really cool, and I loved looking around at all the dollar bills left behind by other diners over the years. We ordered the Hub Sampler so we got to try a little bit of every classic fried item on the menu. It included fried mushrooms, pickles, mozzarella, and then corn fritters. It was great and had something for everyone! Each of us ordered a sandwich and then one chef salad to split. Because we were also eating a sandwich, the salad was big enough for 4 people to share. It was really big for an entree salad! Everything was good and fresh. My husband and I split The Main Street with potato salad. It's a yummy take on a club sandwich. The standout of the entire meal though was the potato salad. It is a must try. I haven't stopped thinking about it since and I'm kicking myself that I didn't get a to go order to bring back home with me!
