They use premium products and Hawkes Bay's finest local produce but the pricing isn't put at a premium. The service is OK as is the coffee; I ordered a tall macchiato which was quite burnt. We desperately needed a birthday cake and there isn't much other options to choose from in this area. We knocked on the door as we saw a lady cleaning inside the store. The lady came out and we told her if there's any cake left, we'll buy it! And there was this beautifully made salted caramel chocolate cake... it was to die for!!! It's got crunchy caramel bits like hokey pokey (New Zealand ice cream flavor) in between layers and it was topped with caramel sauce and chocolate bits. It was so perfect and I wouldn't change a thing! I'll be sure to stop by when they're actually open next time and check out other pastries and baked goods!
