This crazy golf I believe isn't the one right next to the pier but a 10 minute walk along the beach…read moreheading towards the marina. This is great fun and well worth a couple of quid each. I am very competitive but take losing well which after this experience I should get used to, I wont say by how much I lost! For those who play golf it is pretty good as it is quite challenging so having experience playing golf will not really do you too much favours. This course has a yearly tournament! 'For crazy golf' i hear you say. If you want a different challenge and are competitive get involved if not get involved and beat those who take it too seriously. These types of activities are what make going to the seaside a real day out and not just snoring on the beach, whilst getting sun burn all over. Take anyone you like and support this crazy golf as if we stop playing these games all we will have is a beach!

What would the seaside be without mini-golf? Now, Brighton is blessed with two nice little courses,…read moreone just east of the Palace Pier, and Peter Pan's, further along by Yellow Wave (the outdoor sports centre). If you have the time, take the longer walk down to Peter Pan's: the quality here is so much higher, the course a bit more adventurous, and nowhere near as crowded. I personally love mini-golf; I'm also quite good at it, so it stands to reason that I love to play frequently in the summer months. The mini-golf next to the Pier in Brighton is the most frequently used, but it is a pale imitation of Peter Pan's. Here, there is a semblance of fake grass. Here, there is semblance of theme. In all honesty, the whole thing is very ragged around the edges, but not quite as bad as the other one, and that's the important point. The course itself is relatively painless. Nothing too difficult, nor anything too colourful or shiny. Where some mini-golf courses try and do clever things with windmills and stuff like that, Peter Pan's is simple, basic mini-golf: no gimmicks, the way I like it. In the end, it is just mini-golf, and Peter Pan's is a slight improvement on the other Brighton course. Don't go expecting the world; it is a bit rough around the edges, and could do with some improvement, but it is just an idle past-time.

This is quite possibly the best maintained mini-golf course I've ever played. My group went through…read moreall 36 holes (at a somewhat significant expense, but you don't really play mini-golf to be frugal, do you?). While there was very little creativity in the course design, the holes were all in great shape, with no unexpected lumps or divots on the ground, and for a few holes, some very satisfying banking. I was not a fan of the course with a tiki which would intermittently spit water at people passing it (aimed at about belly level), but I can understand why that might have been fun on a much warmer day. My left handed friend complained the courses were not well aligned for people who putt left, but we all had so much fun laughing about her disappearing in the bushes not even she really minded.

This is a great little mini golf course or adventure golf right on the seafront. The location is…read moregreat as there is ample parking near by and if you are walking from town its nice and peaceful along the seafront. A lot of work has been put into this course to do it up and it now boasts two choices...the cave or tree top courses. Both are the same difficulty however one goes over a bridge and the other goes under it. My wife and I opted for the cave route and we were both glad as the other course had more people playing so we got to play our 18 holes without having to rush. I still lost so am not too happy about that. The astro is well kept and the holes are a range of fun and challenging. Price is a little bit more expensive than I expected but over all it is a great place and we will be back

Right when you walk in there's a coat check. After that you can check in upstairs to reserve a tee time (we only had to wait roughly 30 minutes). While waiting there are plenty of fun drinks at the bar or several food options. There are about 4 different small shops within Swingers that provide different foods such a pizza or gelato.

I would most definitely NOT recommend Swingers. We pre-booked this as a big group as part of my hen…read moredo and were really looking forward to planing Crazy golf but from the moment we arrived things just got worse and worse. Upon arriving one of us had tripped on the ramp directly outside the door as this was not clearly taped and made apparent to everyone that there was a trip hazard straight outside the door, as this happened the security man in the door picked on our friend and decided to make it apparent that she was not going to be allowed to participate and that a manager had to assess if she was fit enough to play.. To which we stated not only did she trip in the ramp but she is unsteady on her feet on a normal day due to her disability, however they did not take that into account and still persisted to accuse her of being intoxicated and unfit to play.. We were then eventually allowed to go inside to order our drinks to which our friend who was picked on at the door was not allowed any alcohol to which we still explained her disability to which they persisted that she was not allowed and Alcohol, shortly after this they said she was unable to play all together and that they would refund her, however we still did not find this very fair given the circumstances the manager still persisted to single my disabled friend out and make the situation worse, and the manager did not give any sympathy to the fact they had made my friend cry over this whole situation.. We then got some drinks at the bar, which were disgusting, might I add that I ordered a gin and lemonade, however I would say this was just a bland drink of ice, more than anything else.. I find it very frustrating that not only did they accuse my friend of being intoxicated, they are more than happy to serve you alcohol at the bar as much as you want, yet they then say if your too intoxicated you are unable to play yet they are happy to pour out as many drinks possible... We spoke to the security and manager on multiple occasions to explained the situation however they couldn't of cared any less and where completely unreasonable given the situation.. Before leaving a few people decided to use the toilets before going elsewhere to which we were greeted by a few women who were so pissed they could hardly go to the toilet themselves, let alone play crazy golf, however they were given entry and were allowed to play crazy golf as well as keep getting drinks at the bar.. Based on this experience I would not recommend as they are very unreasonable and unfair to customers, even more so discriminating people who are disabled, highly disappointed and a waste of time, will definitely not return.
