You have heard of Crazy Golf but have you heard of Crazy farm golf? I didn't think so. Crazy Farm Golf is a business venture set up by a County Down farmer to educate people about the history of Northern Irelands agriculture industry through the medium of golf.
The course itself is in the shape of Northern Ireland and each of the 18 holes represents a piece of our farming history. For instance hole one is Ballycopeland windmill and hole 14 represents Cookstown's sausage making heritage. This is not just golf but a history lesson with a little bit of fun thrown in.
This place is well worth a visit and would be fun for all the family. It is a little bit off the beaten track but if you have a sat nav you will get there. The best thing is that no booking is necessary and they can host large groups. The price is pretty reasonable too, £4.50 for adults and £3.00 for 4-16 year olds.
It is not the best crazy golf course in the country but it is certainly unique, you might even learn a bit of history while you shoot foe holes in one. read more
