Great experience using Ignite for the first time. They were easy to schedule with, and Matt's…read morecommunication on the day of the inspection was above what I expected. He was professional and respectful and left my living room spotless after inspecting and cleaning my fireplace. We received a comprehensive report on the state of our fireplace with recommendations and quotes for everything that wasn't perfect, but Matt was careful to reassure my husband that our fireplace was in great shape for its age (close to 100!) and all the updates would simply be to get it up to current codes. He gave us all the info we needed but no pressure to buy additional services. We have recommended him to friends and will use him for our annual inspections and cleaning from now on, and when we are ready to make the big updates, he will be the one we call for sure.

Nonetheless, they do great work, they are friendly and courteous, and don't give us too many surprises. When they have (given us a surprise) they've found something that needs repair and they are level with us as to what we can do and how much it costs (well I don't really know about that last part, since we all agreed long ago that they wouldn't tell me how much she is spending!). They've done all kinds of work on different parts of the house, in and out. They've also helped manage/oversee other types of work (putting in an asphalt drive for example). I think it's inevitable that my wife will find other things to repair or replace; at least with them I know we'll get a good deal and good work and I don't have to worry each time about who is tromping around my house!

It had a good review and the photos looked great, so my husband and I wanted to give them a try - especially as a new business just getting started. The work that was done was beyond our expectations! We just wanted to do some shaping up and clearing of weeds and such, but the boys really took care of removing a lot of dead and useless vegetation. We were very impressed with the work and clean up of this business. The job was completed thoroughly and they made sure we were happy with the work at the end. The pricing they gave was super fair and we were very happy with that as well. I 100% recommend this business and will hopefully get to use them in the future!

We hired R & L Home Solutions LLC for residential home improvement work in Knox County under a…read morewritten contract totaling approximately $15,000. The work was not completed as agreed, and the contractor ended work before the full scope was finished, requiring us to engage replacement services. During the project, property damage occurred, resulting in delays and additional repair work. Formal invoices were never provided. Despite multiple written requests, the company failed to supply itemized billing, receipts, proof of licensing, or other documentation relevant to the project. Payment demands continued while the account was in active dispute and before requested documentation was produced. Certified mail sent to the business's last known address was returned as undeliverable due to an expired forwarding order, and the company did not provide an updated service address despite repeated requests. Written requests for clarification and documentation were often unanswered or only partially addressed, and the explanations for claimed charges changed over time without supporting records. Based on our documented cost analysis, we have already paid more than the value of work completed. This review is shared to reflect our experience and to encourage others to carefully verify documentation, licensing, and billing practices before hiring.
