During our phone conversation he stated 1/3 down would be required. But, the update quote stated 1/2 down. If I had known so much wood was rotten over the detached garage I probably would have torn it down.

Marty Simpkins measured our floors and provided an estimate within three days of our inital call to him. Within two more days we were able to meet him at a wholesale showroom to select our laminate floors. (I think we got lucky on timing, because his schedule is jam-packed!) With so many beautiful and affordable choices, we had a great time looking, but had already been through the 'thinking' stage for a while. We made our selection within an hour, and thanks to Marty being able to work us in to his already-overflowing schedule, we had our floors installed right before Mother's Day, which we were hosting in our home. *Thank you, Marty. We didn't ask for this, but were very grateful you offered. Marty and his team prepared the nine-year-old raw concrete floors (leveling, sanding,etc....) without making any mess, laid the titanium underlayment to prevent moisture, and then installed beautiful, hand-scraped laminate.
