I wasted thousands of dollars and couldn't even get him to finish my divorce. Dan made my scheduled meetings all about him and his own personal marital issues. He was unprofessional and never delivered. He even dropped out of my divorce after 1 year and accomplished nothing. I had to finish my divorce myself. I requested my money back and was denied. I requested my retainer agreement and was also denied! This office is not to be trusted on ANY level!

After $1500 (of course paid up front) and 5 months , finally managed to get temporary custody, which was uncontested, from my ex who was in hospice care at a nursing home facility. Then another 3 months to get child support suspended, which was the primary issue that I contacted them for ( I was told that I should've mentioned sooner that I wanted child support stopped once getting custody. It had been explained in great detail in my initial email to them).Then I was told by phone, the following July (1 year later), that my remaining credit was $150.98 but another $400 was needed within the next two days to complete the case for a September hearing. Not that the attorney showed up or notified me of his upcoming absence at the time of the prior hearing (after sitting with my stomach in knots wondering why nobody was there to represent me, a woman did finally approach me to let me know she was filling in). When I returned a consent to withdraw, since at this point my daughter will turn 18 shortly, I found out after requesting the return of my remaining retainer that I would not get it. The $150 is not by any means the issue. The issue is expensive yet poor service. I will add that the staff was friendly, just seemingly incompetent at times. This is not my first time hiring an attorney and this review is based not only on this experience but on comparison to prior experiences with other law firms as well.

I paid her 7k Cash right after our first consultation because she presented herself with full confidence. I was scared and mentally low when we met and believed all her bs. She made me think she was a shark but was never available. I felt the only time she was around was when she would send out non consistent billing and needed money. Sadly, I kept paying while trusting she'd do what she said... She convinced me that she'd get the fines back from my ex when all said and done. She dismissed the case two times because I fell under her "required" retainer. *** WHICH I MUST ADD... she pitched me payment plans during the first initial consultation, however, I had the money so I brought her the 7 k in cash. A year and thousands of dollars later Nothing had been done. I didn't have child support....We didn't even have a parenting plain. When I confronted her and asked her what she had done for me and the case, she had her staff respond to me, "sorry that I was unhappy with their service!" I felt bad and tried to reassure I wasn't saying I wasn't happy I just needed her to respond to the question. THEY IGNORED ME Then she dropped my case a week before the final hearing due to non payment even though I kept her informed and she agreed to work with me knowing the situation. I had all intensions on squaring her once I got a check I was waiting for. Three times she dropped my case SHE WAS OUT!!! I took the money she would have gotten and paid another attorney, Greg Colvin, in Orlando and surprisingly HE got EVERYTHING DONE in under a month. HATS OFF TO GREG COLVIN!!!! Jody doesn't care about her clients and her staff is rude. I started to ask myself who she was working with me or my ex. I am a single mother and live check to check she cost me my savings. She doesn't follow up and has her staff does all her work; however, they don't deliver messages appropriately. She didn't listen to my feelings and dragged my case out but belammed my ex for the prolonged case. After I hired the new attorney I realized how fake she really was. She is a snake, be careful. She made me think she was a shark. However, she showed me she was dishonest and more like a lazy fish....defiantly not a shark!!!
