This is how COVID is affecting us that are getting incorrect diagnoses (as I did) and have healthcare providers who are overworked. #Forefront Dermatology denied me services that would've made my life a lot easier, enabled me to leave the house, and would've saved me ALL this money. It was a covered treatment. The ignorance of the PA at the Grand Haven Forefront office cost me hundreds of dollars out of pocket for refusing treatment that would've healed me months ago. That included a day trip to U of M, which was a total waste of my and their time. The Port Huron Forefront office is so poorly managed, contacting them was no help at all. Zero stars for #Forefront Dermatology in Grand Haven and Port Huron. They should be ashamed of themselves. #ageism

For toes I did pink shellac with chrome finish, loved this look! Would definitely get my nails done here again. SB took care of me and she did a great job! The salon is clean and well run. My first experience with this salon was when I talked with the store through their website regarding walk-ins for a women's trim. I was told that they did do walk ins if they had the availability throughout the day. That same day I happened to be at the mall and wanted to give the salon a try. I walk in to the salon, the stylist were sitting up front messing around with some thread. I asked the stylist if they accepted walk ins and immediately got an attitude from one of the stylist who said they did not accept walk-ins. The stylist said I could set up an appointment which I said I wanted to but no one offered to make an appointment for me while I was in the store. I was given a $5 off card by one of the guys after he basically ran out of the store to give it to me. I proceeded with making my own appointment online from 1:30 - 2:00. I was running late from work so I called the salon at 1:23 and informed them that I was still coming and would be 10-15 minutes late and asked if there policy stated if you were x amount of minutes late if my appointment would be cancelled , I was told over the phone to still come in and they would cut my hair. I walked into the salon to the same thing no one in the store both stylist sitting at the front one was on their phone. The stylist I was seeing was sitting at the counter asked my name and proceeded again with an attitude calling me hun saying she wouldn't cut my hair because I was 15 minutes late and the 15 minutes of time from 1:45 to 2:00 was not long enough. I then stated I had just called and was told that I was still able to get a hair cut, the gentlement on his phone got an attitude and said no you said you were running 10 minutes late. I proceeded to get upset as I specifically asked over the phone what the policy was and was told to still come in. The guy proceeded to argue with me, I informed him I called the store at 1:23 and was there at 1:45 which meant I was a total of 12 minutes late, I understand not wanting to rush through a hair cut but little did this stylist know I have hair stylist in my family and that I know the game of a salon. I know that if you are not a regular customer at that said salon they would not go the extra mile for you. I also know that stylist typically have only 15 minutes to cut a clients hair. As excited as I was to finally find a permanent hair stylist I could continue to go to as I have been in search of good service and someone who is willing to go that extra mile for their client and yet again I was let down by another salon. I will not recommend this salon to anyone and will never go back. I hope this reaches the owner of this salon and no one else experiences this same service that I did.

But I thought $170 was very steep and I just expected a lot more for that price. Maybe it was the equipment that they use that bump up the price, but I've had better results with a micro needling /chemical peel or something a little more invasive. They recommended Dr. Hamzavi and made the appointment for the next day. The staff were very pleasant, the PA said surgery was needed. Dr. Hamzavi did the surgery and fully explained what had to be done. He numbed the area, removed a layer of skin at a time, tested it, until they came to clear skin, then sewed up the skin where the cancer had been. He did a beautiful job repairing the skin. Dr. Hamzavi was extremely personable as was the staff that helped with the procedure. I would recommend him to anyone needing a dermatologist.
