They did make a mistake with my registry and I received two of the same item when I requested to limit the quantity for this particular item to just one. They were quick to correct it though and offered a replacement of any item with the same or lesser value. Finally, if the gift giver is unable to get the item on the day of the purchase, they newlyweds can opt to pick these up from one of the branches or even get the gifts delivered to their home for free. Aside from Dimensione being the top pick for wedding registries, they really do have some stylish pieces of furniture and other items that can add class to any home. The touches found inside are very much distinct that it almost feels as if you were transported into a European city. The only common thing about these items is that they are pricey. But, this store really attracts a lot of window shoppers such as myself. The experience is like going inside a museum--you just look at things because it's entertaining and can somewhat be educational. I got the chance to talk to Divine, the manager of the showroom, and she told me that all of their pieces are from Europe. Their designs are very fun and quirky. Not only do they sell furniture, they also sell lights and accessories. I chanced upon their stall at the third floor of LRI because their theme looked so summery! The blue wall was enough to capture my attention along with the hanging tents by the door. It was so cool how they set up the place! They have square bean bags with various designs such as the Union Jack and the Swiss flag. They also have them in stripes and solid colours. They have mostly anything for the outdoors shown that day. The bean bag also doubles as a bed. So you can take it with you when you camp out! I already told my Dad about this store. He's an outdoors enthusiast so this will be really interesting for him. To risk sounding like I'm plugging these products, the Sitting Bull bean bags are fully customizable bean bags that can turn into a solo chair, a sofa, a bed, and everything else in between. As a collector this is important because many other toy shops are now selling fake items which have no value at all. I started my first ever collection in 2007 with a limited edition deluxe G.I. Joe figures of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. My collection has now grown to over twenty items. I also have premium format statues of Batman, The Joker, and Jack Sparrow. All with fully-realized, highly-detailed likenesses of the characters. I also appreciate the insights of the guys at Maxiworks. Just ask Leo or Ann, the very polite and friendly store managers, about the latest and most sensible collectibles to buy and they will be happy to help you out. You can even pre-order items at very affordable downpayment rates. Over time, I see Maxiworks more as an investment house rather than a toy shop. Consistently well-designed and always remarkable, Firma's store tableaus are always a source of inspiration. They are always a good introduction of what's in store for its visitors. Filled with lovely (and very expensive) pieces for the home, Firma's selection leans more towards an Asian or Eastern sensibility. (It's also noteworthy to point out that Firma is the brainchild by the same duo that own AC+632 in Greenbelt 3, a home décor store with a more European sensibility). It's always a pleasure for my to pore over Firma's selection of fine trays and china, sculptural home décor items and incredible fine jewelry made by local artisans. Aside from the décor and jewelry, there is also a selection of quirky hats and handbags for the lady or gent with offbeat taste.

And if you didn't notice, there was a showroom of equally gorge furniture and fixtures right beside the café. This is called the Stick Designs Showroom. Stick is naturally also owned by that of the proprietors behind 14 Four Café. If my memory serves me right, the father of 14 Four Café's owner, Nikki Sambile, is a furniture designer so I believe most of the items being sold there are of her father's. I know they also have other furniture designers showcase their works there. Each piece is carefully curated and in the countless times I've been here, I've fallen in love with a brand new piece or two every time. Personally, I love how they manage to create such show-stopping chairs and couches. One that struck me most was a chair that had a high back. It had silver arms rests and legs but it's actual back and seat was like a painting. With a white base, strokes of different hued brushes created a beautiful art piece. If purchased, it would definitely be any room's statement piece. Every item is made in limited edition. While they do have a line or two that's made-to-order, each piece needs a production time of 3 to 5 weeks. I have not had the chance to commission these guys for any piece but when I get my own space or if I happen to remodel my room, I'll be sure to get one, two or 5 from Stick Designs!
