Man, oh man, do I love love love furniture stores. That wasn't the case when I was younger, though. In fact, I absolutely despised anything that had to do with house shopping. Honestly, who likes watching your mom choose between blender covers and dishwashing towels when you're 11? Nobody, that's who. No kid wants to look at home stuff.
I remember not minding as much when my mom would browse through Dimensione, though. Everything was so interesting and brightly colored, sort of like a toy shop, and I would find myself fascinated with all the odd bits and bobs. Now that I'm older and ABSOLUTELY ADORE anything that has to do with home shopping, I find that my love for Dimensione hasn't dawdled but rather increased to new, unfathomable heights. There's something about all the bright furniture and endearingly quirky knick knacks that make me imagine some eclectic apartment studio somewhere in my future. One of my crushes bought me a cactus-pen (the pen is the cactus, the pot is the pen holder) for Christmas and that just about sold the deal for me, Dimensione became my ultimate favorite furniture shop for the rest of forever. They also have knick knacks like windable robots and cactus earring holders (you can see I have a bit of a fascination with cacti) and Big Ben shaped clocks and little suitcases where you can store your stuff in. What's not to like? If you're a homeowner whose home is in need of a bit of bright color or endearing quirkiness, head on over to Dimensione - your house will thank you for it. read more
