I Remember the ER being very disorganised, chatotic and uncaring. Heart rate shot up to 200 bpm at one point to little attention. Was luckily given a room and tests were done (which was nice and Tyler Glagola EMT, head nurse and then cardiac nurse stopped by to say hello that day which was also very nice) but nothing ever came of it. Was billed for doctors I don't even remember seeing. Doctors reported physical examinations that I don't think ever occurred. On top of that, I developed a blood clot in my left arm as a result of their care. They never really did anything about. Doctors never really found out what was wrong and I never really got any better. They really don't care about you as a person at all. If you don't fit a certain criteria, they will not help you.

This is a clinic for workers, basically. You come in to get physicals and drug tests for jobs and I…read moreguess if you're in a union you get medical care (I saw an older man with a uniform on going in and the doctor said, "Let's see what's wrong with you here.") So, like I said before, I came in for a job to get a physical, skin test, and drug test and the service was stellar. Every nurse was SO sweet and helpful, especially considering I didn't know what to do. Both the doctor and the nurse explained each test they ran and went through all the procedures thoroughly for me. I felt like I was being taken care of rather than pushed through like most clinics I've been to. Also, the office is very clean but a little old. It's not state of the art or anything. It's located at the JFK Hospital but it's tucked away into the woods in the back. It's in Parking lot G, but there is no sign for G. Instead, follow H (leads you into "Family Practice"), which will take you to Occupational Health Services. I had to drive 30 minutes to this place so I'm glad it was worthwhile.

Stay away. I injured my shoulder at work in January of 2015. The first time I went to Occupational…read moreHealth the doctor took an x-Ray and told me that he didn't see anything and it was just a pulled muscle. He gave me a week off from work. I then returned a week later and even thought I told him I was still in pain, he sent me back to work and told me that the pain was all in my head. The day I went back to work I couldn't take the pain and my company sent me back to them. There the same doctor told me that i was fine and it was all in my head and that he did not want to do an MRI because if he found something they would have to treat it.(hmm) I then went to my primary doctor who sent me for an MRI and it showed that I had a partial thickness rotator cuff tear and an impigment on my shoulder. Went back to the doctor and he told me that it is normal to have rotator cuff tears as we age (I am 27). I then asked to speak to the chief who then sent me to an Orthopedic. I've been coming to Occupational Health every month for one year for this injury and every time i come it takes 3 to 4 hours of my day.
