My son loves Ms. Watson and Ms. Philbrinck! They are so patient and so clearly care about him holistically, not just as another head count in the class. They do such fun projects that incorporate developmentally appropriate curriculum and my son loves to talk about the things he's learning through play. The teachers also obviously use productive guidance for correcting behaviors and you can just tell they love the kids and want the best for them. My daughter's teachers Jenna and Sara are also both incredible women who work with the toddlers. My daughter has no hesitation when we drop her off, she's excited to spend the day with her friends and teachers, too. The exploration and play in her room is well rounded and it's obvious that they're helping the kids meet milestones AND have a blast. You can also tell how much these teachers pour into caring for the kids. I know my daughter is loved from the moment she arrives to the minute she leaves! We're very happy with the programs, the lunch and snack options, and the teachers and staff. Thank you all for being part of our village! We've been here for six months now and everything is going well. Communication is great, and they also send out awesome newsletters every week to help keep us informed on family fun throughout the area.

We are going into his third year of enrollment and I'm constantly amazed at how much he has bloomed and what he has learned in his time there. The teachers are absolute gems, the administration is attentive and personable, and the whole school feels like a community. I love that my son is exposed to things that I can't expose him to on an everyday basis, especially other cultures and traditions. We live about 35 minutes from the school and the commute is totally worth it for the school. I could not have asked for a better fit for our family!

Our "slow to warm up" kiddo loved it on the first day and was always happy and excited on "school" days. They really let the kids be who they are, meet them where they are, and foster their interests. He was able to paint everyday and they have a music teacher, which is great. The playground is lovely and the kids/other families are kind. I highly recommend. Also, they are associated with Greenwood Forest Baptist church, but it is a non-religious pre-school and GFBC supports LBTQIA and BLM.

Sure enough I was told they had a spot for all three of my kids and by the grace of God they were at Knowledge Beginnings 7 days later STABILITY! KB has given my children something they and I have desperately needed in our lives right now for personal reasons. They're happy there. That means the world to me because the last place they were at for only two months, I was desperate to get them out so much that I was nauseous everyday dropping them off. Hearing their cries and the things my six, almost 7yo daughter would tell me. Again I just cannot say enough about the care provided by KB for the whole family. I love their director Erica and assistant director Alex! They're both incredibly friendly and make you feel like you've been friends for two decades kind of friendly but still professional and uphold boundaries to ensure that all are treated the same. They really care about their students and families. The teachers are wonderful especially in keeping contact with us parents about any concerns or even kudos. We all have things going on in our lives at home but Knowledge Beginnings have given such a wonderful, safe, happy, structured, comforting and loving stable environment for my children and I'm so grateful. I toured all of the 4 and 5 star preschools when it was time for my son to begin. HMCS was a 4 star at that time and I was still more impressed them than the other schools, including the ones with 5 star ratings. HMCS is now rated as a 5 star. The directors/teachers actually care about each student and it shows. The location is convenient, but right next to a gas station. At first I thought it was kind of an ugly view from the playground, but there are bushes and the kids don't seem to think twice about the surroundings outisde of the playground anyway.

I have also had some problems with a couple of the students, but as soon as I addressed the situation with the Director, she took care of things immediately. The Director is Aisha Eugene and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is professional, polite, concerned with any issues, and works diligently to make sure that the children are safe and well looked after. She is also accessible and that is very important to parents and grandparents. My grandson adores her as well as my husband and I. As grandparents raising our grandson, we are obviously older and more attuned to his needs. We are raising him to be respectful, courteous, and mannerly, and we want him to be treated the same by others. We have brought a few situations to the attention of Ms. Eugene and she has thoughtfully reviewed what improvements can be made. Harps Mill Creative School is extremely lucky to have her!

Sonia and Janae are responsive and each of our child's teachers were exceptional. We recently had to move daycares because we ended up not buying a home near Primrose School of Hilburn. We were very sad to leave them, and we wish them the best! If there are any negatives, the 'carpool lane' is not always treated as a quick in and out, and you can often get stuck behind cars of parents that go inside and take their time getting out. The hours (7 AM to 6 PM) are a little shorter than other daycares we looked at. And, the holiday schedule seems to provide a few additional days off than we were accustomed to. We viewed each of these items as being very minor, and overall, we were very happy with our Primrose experience!

But the teachers and administrators worked so hard to ensure a smooth transition. They kept us up-to-date on his progress (and even called throughout the day to let us know that even with a rough drop off in the morning, he was having so much fun with his new friends shortly afterwards), and gave us tips to make the change easier. We have loved the teachers in every classroom that he has progressed to. With our youngest, there was no doubt he would also be joining his big brother. Dropping off an infant is always rough the first few weeks, but it was such natural experience at that point and the teachers are so caring with the babies, that I don't think a tear was shed (so different from my firstborn!). We love being able to follow their daily activities on their secure app, and they send us pictures throughout the day and summaries of what they learned and how we can continue with the lessons at home (ex. 'Toddlers did rhyming today, what kind of rhymes can you two come up with for the word xyz'). I had always thought that I would transfer our kids to preschool when the time came, but I see how much they learn every day at Primrose and know that we'll just make the switch to Kindergarten when the time comes. It's a great, involved school, where your kids are really cared for. All of the teachers, administrators, chef, etc know both of my kids by name and my toddler is always excited to give them hugs or run up for a high five. Extra bonus: It's close to Target so when we're in a rush to grab something on the way to pickup, we can always swing by Target for more diapers, etc.

Like any first time parents, my husband and I put a lot of energy, time and worry into childcare for our son. We have never once felt that we made anything but the best decision to enroll at PCA. She is often the first to be greeting families each day at the door and does SO much we could never even imagine behind the scenes too. Our child often comments about Debi and her involvement in their school day - I'm amazed by this. Additionally, all the teachers and staff here are extremely well qualified, understanding (they are all parents too), warm and truly enjoy being with kids. Our child entered preK for the first time in January and within weeks (if not days) had learned so much. She went from no school experience to confident on her way to learning all the expected preK skills and more! She was writing her name, making and identifying her letters, counting and identifying her numbers, and so much more. They made school so fun with tons of meaningful and themed art projects, creative play, experiments and lots more. They had opened an extra afternoon class and we got lucky to be able to join mid year. We were also lucky enough to have a fabulous teacher, Cynthia, with decades of experience... she made our child's first learning experience one that every parent dreams. Our expectations were completely surpassed. I love that they are so flexible with the number of days you attend as well. I wasn't ready to send my child more than 2 days to start (even though she was begging to go each day and couldn't stop talking about her amazing new school!) Within less than a day, the director Debi, every teacher, and all the staff knew my child's name and welcomed her with full hearts. Debi and the teachers are so compassionate and treat every single child like their own. Their methods of teaching create an environment of fun while instilling a love for learning. My kids were more than ready for kindergarten after attending Bridges. We are sad to be leaving, but treasure the memories we have made throughout their preschool years!
