The only good thing I can say about them is they showed up. I have never been treated or spoken to…read morethe way he spoke to me. He stood right in my face and called me a liar. My problem was a 50ft tree fell on my house. The first thing they did was tarp my house and didn't have a clue what they were doing. I have pictures...I couldn't even get out my door. It started raining that night and I had to use bucket to catch the water. I called my neighbor and ask if he would come over the next morning to move the tarps to cover the leak. A few minutes later I heard something outside and it was my neighbor on my roof, in the dark and rain fixing the tarps to stop the leaks. Taylor didn't check behind his clueless crew to see if they were doing their job. He gave me a paper to sign of something he had done. I signed it. I trusted him, that was a mistake. I called the office the next morning and ask if I could get a copy and they said they didn't have a receipt. The reason they didn't give me one is because they hadn't had time to change it...which is exactly what they did. He is not an honest man at all. Every time I spoke to him about price his comment was " I can charge as much as I want and they have to pay me because it's a natural disaster". My friend sent 6 of his crew to clean up the limbs in the yard. They even raked the front and back. There was nothing on the ground. About two days later, Taylor came back, dropped a huge limb on my fence (I have pictures). I told him the yard had been cleaned up before he dropped the limb on my fence. I told him he would have to fix my fence and clean up all the debris and that I just had it all done before he dropped the limb. He called me a liar to my face, in front of his worthless crew, and they thought that was funny. The day they came they had a Huge crane come in my driveway. It destroyed my driveway. I should have filed a claim against him for that, but I didn't think about it. I should have said all this a few years ago, but I am in the mood to let it out. If I hear anybody talking about hiring Taylor Tree, I'll be sure to give them my honest opinion, and I promise it win's be good. People that do things like what he did to me, my property and my Insurance Company....it will all come back to them and I hope I get to see it.

They removed four very large trees that were leaning in various directions, one mid-sized oak leaning at 45 degrees, two very tall pines 80 feet and 100+ and the oldest magnolia tree that any of them had ever seen (trunk was completely hollow and almost five feet in diameter). They worked safely but quickly and when they were done, there wasn't so much as a dead leaf laying in my yard. They worked around three small trees without damaging them and went above and beyond. Contracted Stokes Tree Service to remove a very large and very old pecan tree from the backyard of…read moreone of our properties. The price was $1500 more than what we had budgeted and negotiated the price down to the budget with the understanding that the stump would be left and the stump not be ground down. After putting us off several weeks and then delays after agreed-upon time for removal, Stokes Tree Service finally showed up and started to take the tree down. When they completed it, they had left approximately 20 to 30 feet of stump and tree limbs left attached to the tree. Upon our complaint that this was not what we agreed upon Stokes Tree Service came back and removed the upper limbs, but still left approximately 15 feet of the stump left. His financial representative called up and asked for immediate payment whereupon we asked to have the tree finished. We were told it would take another $1500 or more for them to come back and finish the stump. Dissatisfied with his reply I told him this is where we parted company. We paid what we originally agreed to even though the work was not complete. for those who do business with this company I strongly recommend they get a contract in writing before they commit to having work done. In all good consciousness, I cannot recommend this business to future customers who need tree removal services as I will no longer do business with them.
