Contracted with this business August 2023 for my son's wedding on August 2024. Spoke with the owner…read moreLisa Green at least 3 times to ensure that she would be able to deliver on my vision for the wedding. I sent pictures of flowers and ideas about what I wanted the arrangements and venue to look like and she said it would not be a problem. Again, just before the wedding date, I reached out to her to remind her of what I wanted and send in the last payment. Wedding day 2024 finally arrived. Unfortunately the flowers were a big disappointment. Let's start with the isle and arbor. She FORGOT the decorations. I had ordered 10 cones filled with baby breath and two large ferns to be placed on the chairs and the ferns at the entrance to the isle. Arbor: I requested the arbor flowers be set up left upper corner and right lower portion. What I got was 3 bunch of flowers just affixed without any direction. The flowers were dead, leaves some were dead. It looked like a child put it together. The wreaths I requested were placed on the wrong doors and no tulle was placed on them. The venue: ordered lanterns and balloons with lights in them. The lanterns were placed above the dance floor but the balloons were not placed on the floor In cluster of 3 near columns. Instead she put them in the ceiling. The the table arrangement were the right size but flowers looked old. In many cases the guard petals were still on. Overall dissatisfied, based on the time and information I provided Lisa the results should have been better. The flowers were cheap, filler flowers cheap and implementation and execution jus terrible. She was at the venue approached me and started to apologize to me during family time. We agreed that it was not the right time. On 8/5 I contacted her and again she apologized. The end result, she freely offered a small refund that we both agreed upon. No amount of money will recreate the vision I had and after holding her hand it should never have happened. She was juggling another event and dropped the ball. I will not use her again, not even for memorial bouquet!!! If you are wondering what she charged me... it was over 6000.00 thousand dollars and I am certain that the flowers were not worth more than 1500.00 dollars. I got 1500.00 back. She ruined the day. I made 10 arrangements for the rehearsal dinner and my guests thought they were done by a florist and I am not a florist. Go elsewhere for your special day needs.

Sent my mom flowers for her birthday and she was very pleased with the final product. I love that…read morethey offer a subscription service with the option to send monthly or quarterly arrangements.

All of the plants are outside on the Kings vast land. The King's are like a living history of the Merrimack valley region - Mr. King can tell you stories about these towns when they were still all farm lands. There are frogs, turtles, toads, and other amazing animals close at hand while you're looking at a gorgeous selection of some of the nicest plants you've ever seen. The variety is incredible, and the quality is unsurpassed. No artificial fertilizers are used and Mr. King swears this is why deer don't bother his plants. He knows everything about every type of plant he sells and can answer whatever question you've got. I can't stress enough just how nice it is to be out there though - the drive over a tiny bridge, the "turtle crossing" signs, the acres of amazing plants to explore - and most importantly, the Kings themselves - 2 of the nicest, happiest, and most interesting people you could meet! Absolutely worth checking this place out.

My first trip (finally!) to Cottage Gardens certainly won't be my last. This place holds a few…read moresurprises. I've seen ads for Cottage Gardens and had them in my radar but just never had a real reason to go. Then I saw the coupon/ad for their Breast Cancer Benefit Weekend. I figured if ever there was a time to get my butt there, supporting a good cause by shopping was it! Although it doesn't look like there's enough room to park, there is a large lot in back. It is very country cozy looking with the house on the left, plants hither and yon and little cottages scattered about (well only three but...) They sell plants and trees so I asked the owner if she had any ligularia. My garden is in deep shade and I have difficulty finding plants that will thrive in deep shade. She did not have ligularia but made some recommendations for my garden. I ended up purchasing a bush and two plants all of whose names I have promptly forgotten. I'll have to update later with how they do since I just planted them this weekend. On to the best part, the cottages! One is a gift shop and they have cut flowers & other girlie gift items. I spotted scarves, lotions, decorative items and cards. A nice little place to putter around for a unique little item. The last little cottage was the best one though! That one holds the bakery. Homemade cookies, brownies and scones, need I say more? Actually, yes! A Warning: Do not attempt to eat your scone before leaving. That will only entice you to purchase more scones. These were seriously the best scones I've ever eaten. The first one I bought was raspberry white chocolate. I nibbled it on the walk back to my car. When I stopped up front to load my plants, I decided I could not finish the day without trying the cinnamon brown sugar scone. Deliciousness! If for nothing else, I will be back for another scone (or two).

The plants here are pricey and they don't look healthy. Everything was very dry. Not dead headed at…read moreall. I bought the pansies because I didn't want to travel. Never again.
