I was robbed of my dignity and now have PTSD. Another aide stole some of my clothes. I spent 7 months of my life there in 2023, being treated for an open wound. It was zero better when i checked myself out. All a very traumatic experience that may take years for me to recover. Thanks for nothing, Cramberry Place. read more

This is one of the best nursing rehab homes around. I'm a social worker and been in way too many places and most are horrible. My dad was there 4 times I. 2023 and they did a fabulous job with taking care of him and having him to come home and a 2024 one of my participants was there a few times and they did a great job with her and took very good care of her kudos for doing such a great job with my dad and my participant read more

Way understaffed. Called for a nurse to use the restroom at 2:23pm . Not 1 person came in. 20 mins later she had a bm in a diaper. Went out to the nurses station 3 nurses sitting there all of them ignored me standing there. Told them she had a bm and needed changed. At 3:35 they finally came in and changed her. I told them if they would of answered the first time they wouldn't have to clean a shiity diaper. 98 year old lady should not have to sit in feces! Then the very next day it was 45 mins for them to come and take her to the bathroom. She was right next to the nurses desk so they could obviously see her light on. Maybe instead of continually bringing new patients in a overcrowded home l. Try taking care of the ones that are already there. Disgusting what's some of these patients go thru. Now do not get me wrong there are wonderful nurses and aides here that we love but the quality of care is jeopardized by not having enough staff. read more

Dirty. Disgusting. Rude. I feel bad for the folks that don't have anyone to visit and keep an eye on them. They leave people in their gowns for days. They don't clean them when they have an accident. The care is awful. DONT LET YOUR FAMILY NEAR THIS PLACE! read more

This is a terrible place for anyone! Especially if they can't communicate or have memory problems. I've walked into my loved one sitting in a dripping wet diaper. The nurses are rude and unprofessional when asked questions. I witnessed patients being physically and mentally abused. The administration is awful! You can't get a hold of anyone and when I finally spoke with my loved ones social worker she asked me who she was! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! read more

I was a patient from June 23, 2014 until August 24, 2014. I know it has been a year ago since my stay, but I didn't realize that I could have given my review until now. I was thoroughly pleased with the whole rehab experience at Cranberry Place.. It was my home away from home for 2 months. It was my first experience with the hospital stay except when I had my two children born in 1975 and 1977 delivered by C-section. Even looking back on my stay there, it is with great memories of all who worked for me - the PT and OT staff - the nurses and nurses aids and the dietary employees and also the cleaning staff They were always so wonderful to me and I appreciated them so much. I could not say anything negative about Cranberry Place at all. The food was always wonderful and if you didn't like what was on the menu you could have something of your choice. I was there when they had the car cruise in August - what a wonderful day that was. I was one completely happy patient. read more

He and his staff do not pay attention to details - I am on 4 medications and have been for a number of years. The dosages have been tweaked by other doctors until everything was just right. When I transfer to him, he and his staff get them all screwed up, inadvertently re writing them all wrong. And this last summer, my prescription plan starting requiring a preauthorization, they totally dropped the ball on that, resulting in me having a horrible month without that medication while the preauthorization was being done. If they had taken care of it when I first asked them, it would have been a smooth deal. And my wife had bad experiences with him as well. Several times she called to make appointments to come in, only to have the assistant try to diagnose her over the phone, then tell her she really didn't need to come in. Sinus infections are viral and there's nothing the doctor can do for you? Give me a large break! !!! And he really screwed up in his feeble attempts to treat her Type II diabetes. His tweaks of her metformin did her absolutely no good. When she started having foot pain, he totally missed the fact that she was Type II diabetic, and wanted to send her to a orthopedic surgeon! !! What? ?!!??. On her last visit to this guy, he asked her if she didn't agree with his plan, what did she think was causing the pain? Maybe diabetic nerve damage! ! He excused himself from the room for a few minutes then sheepishly returned, and told her she "could go ahead" and see the endocronologist she had an appointment with. Well, thank you for your permission, you imbecile. And by the way, one visit to that doctor worked wonders. Like I said, avoid this guy. If you're sick, call me instead. I could probably do a better job.

I would not recommend this care facility to anyone looking for a place that truly prioritizes the well-being and safety of their loved ones. From what I have personally witnessed, the level of care provided does not meet the standards that families expect when placing someone in a nursing or rehabilitation home. One of the most concerning issues is the lack of staffing. The facility often appears to be understaffed, which directly impacts the attention patients receive. Many times patients are left waiting long periods before anyone checks on them, even after requesting assistance. It is troubling to see patients who need help not being monitored as closely as they should be. There have also been instances where staff remain behind the desk on their phones while patients are waiting for help. When patients express their needs or concerns, those requests are not always taken seriously or responded to in a timely manner. For individuals who depend on staff for basic care and safety, this is extremely concerning. Another serious issue is patient safety. There have reportedly been multiple incidents where patients have fallen while under staff supervision. Situations like this raise questions about the level of monitoring and attentiveness being provided. Families trust care facilities to look after their loved ones with compassion, attention, and professionalism. Unfortunately, based on my experience, that level of care was not consistently demonstrated here. I strongly encourage anyone considering this facility to thoroughly research their options and ensure they choose a place that truly prioritizes patient safety, dignity, and proper care. Please take the time to carefully evaluate where you place your loved ones. Everyone deserves to be in an environment where they feel safe, respected, and properly cared for. read more

But what hurts the most is that I had to fight to keep my baby's remains from being treated like medical waste. The doctor did not even seem to know that I could ask for the pregnancy tissue from my D&C as proof of my pregnancy and loss. I should never have had to fight for this. I was grieving my baby, and I had to fight the hospital to make sure her remains were not simply thrown away. Then I was offered a keychain... I don't want a keychain to remember this experience by. I wanted my baby. I won't put all my private medical details here, but other parents need to know: ask questions, ask what is happening to the remains, request your records, and ask for your proof of conception for a proper burial based on your faith. You also have a right for the hospital to take care of the remains, if that's what helps you get through. No judgement, just options. The pathologist named Stephanie was the one person who showed me extraordinary compassion. They treated Estelle with dignity and treated me like a grieving mother, not a case number. Just a beautiful soul who looks you in the eye. I will never forget that. Mercy needs to do better. Losing my baby was devastating enough. I should never have had to fight the hospital to make sure she mattered. Horton taught us "A person is a person, no matter how small." Estelle mattered. Her remains mattered. And I am grateful to the pathologist who treated her with the dignity she deserved.

The nurses and doctors where fine the receptionists where fine as well. My problem is that they call it a hospital when it really is just a big urgent care facility. After blood work and testing the doctor said that they where not capable of diagnosing my sons problems as they do not have any specialty doctors on staff. What the heck no specialty doctors why even call yourself a hospital???????. The doctors said they where going to transfer him to Wexford Hospital. I do not get it they do thousands and thousands of dollars in tests only to say they can't do anything to help. Then to boot some one is paying for an ambulance to transfer him to the other hospital. If I was you I would avoid this so called hospital like the plague. I will be sure to never go here again. This is not a hospital so do not be fooled into thinking it is. If you have basic problems I am sure they can help, But anything remotely serous there is no way for them to help you. I must say again please do not go here unless you have no serious problems. With that said It was our fault for going here. I would normally give one star but the nurses and even the doctors where very nice even if they could not help. Normally for this level of care I would probably give 3-4 stars. Overall I will give 2 stars which is very generous.
