She started fighting with me when I said I got tension headaches, to which she explained that headaches aren't real, only migraines. I've been going to this office for almost 20 years. Previously, it was Dr. House's practice, but he…read moresold it to Dr. Judd. I like Dr. Judd personally, and the quality of care is good here, but the office experience is something else. I don't want to be billed an estimate for care on my way out the door on the date of service. I want to be billed for the ACTUAL amount I owe after my insurance has adjusted the bill. I realise that causes my dentist to have to wait for his payment, but doing it his way makes more work and headache for me and potentially allows him to keep money he didn't earn if I don't follow up when I receive the Explanation Of Benefits document or whatever it's called from my insurance company later. This is NOT how I am billed for my other medical care when I see a physician, and I'm not doing it at the dentist's office, either. I tried to woek this out with them but they were unflinchingly rigid about it and so I'm taking my business elsewhere. After nearly 20 years. I already found a different dentist who will bill me based on the actual adjusted bill after the date of service and that's who I'm going with. Sorry guys.
