This is second time I write a review on the Craftsman Collision Powell East Van. I had an amazing experience once again.Today, I brought my 2016 Mini cooper for broken doorknob inside my car for estimate. While I was waiting for estimate, I realized that Leo, the manager and his team were already fixing it. I went to Leo and asked how much for the repair, he said "it's free of charge"! I couldn't believe it, because I took my car to other repair shop yesterday and was told it will take few days and need to order parts and couldn't get any estimate.. what a difference! I thanked Leo for the amazing service and wanted to pay something, but he declined. Leo said the repair they've done for me was a small job and they couldn't charge, so no worries. But it was a big problems for me not able to open door from inside, and they fixed it within 10 min! I was so thankful it almost made cry. Like I said in the beginning, this is second time they fixed my car for free.. first time was a dent on rear bumper of Prius C which they fixed with a heat gun within 5 min... Friendly and amazing service. I hit my driver's side mirror on a post backing into a parking spot today. The mirror was making a load noise when it was folder in and out. I called the Craftsman Collision shop on Powell because we had received excellent service from them several time over the past number of years. The lady who answer the phone, asked if I could bring the car in for them to take a look. Soon after arriving at the shop a body technician took a look at the mirror and immediately new how to fix the problem. He quickly adjusted the mirror with a small shim tool. The mirror works as good as new. The manager Sam drop by and said hello. Neither the manager or the body mechanic would accept any payment for the work. Amazing service! Thank you. read more

Very pleasant and helpful throughout the process both on the phone and in person. This team were professional, friendly and efficient. When we picked up the car they were washing it! The car was returned cleaner than we left it and they even left us some 'gifts'. (A shopping bag, calendar and pen, it's a nice touch.) Back story: On Christmas someone tore our bumper off while it was parked out front of where we live and then just left. Nice, right? I went out to take photos of the damage, and witnessed some of the worst driving I've ever seen. Someone almost took the mirror off while I was standing right there watching. Definitely highly recommend this place. They are super friendly and knowledgable, and go out of their way to do a thorough job fixing your vehicle and providing the best service possible. I came to craftsman collision after my car was damaged during a break in, and was given awful service at a different shop that was not able to fix a mechanical issue that happened during the break in. Big shout out to Ricky for being so helpful and pleasant to communicate with, i live down the street and he picked up and dropped off my vehicle, which was so greatly appreciated, and even gave it a car wash before returning it to me fixed. 10/10 would reccomend!! read more

Five bright stars for these guys! Someone vandalized my parked vehicle back in October and and recently I was rear-ended. Both not my fault but I had to deal with it. I decided to take my vehicle here the first time because it's close to my work and convenient hours for me where I can pick up and drop off easily. I called in first to ask to make an appointment to come in. It was my first time there so it took a few minutes to get my information, register my vehicle, and insurance papers stuff. I came back the next day to drop off my car to get a courtesy vehicle. I wasn't aware, but if they didn't have a courtesy car available then my insurance would cover a rental of a vehicle. I'd have never gone through the process myself so I never really thought about it. At this time a courtesy vehicle wasn't available so I was picked up at the shoppe from a driver from Hertz auto rentals and registered for a vehicle there. That was a terrible experience with Hertz (see review) but Craftsman Collision has no control over who they use as a car rental company. Anyway, both times they got my car done in a very timely manner. Second time I was smarter and booked myself with one of their courtesy vehicles so I didn't have to deal with a rental company. Will definitely recommend these guys. Great service and fast and efficient. read more

Whenever you find a good autoshop, you should tell people. Not all Craftsman Collision locations are the same -- but my experience at this location has always been excellent. Staff is great and service is reliable & honest. I have had bodywork done here (quote was one of the cheapest) and had them replace a broken rear window (quick and professional...man I hate people that B&E cars). Quite literally the best customer service I have ever received, from my initial telephone inquiry to picking up my car once it was repaired. I needed to get my car fixed after getting badly rear-ended, and the lovely folks at this location made the entire process effortless. On dropping my car off for the repairs, they took the time to ask me how I was feeling after the accident seeing how badly my car was hit. They explained ICBC's process and gave me a timeline for repairs while pulling around a courtesy car for me to take. Every single person working at this location made an effort to smile and say hi as they worked, I felt like a celebrity haha! On returning the car, I was met with the same level of kindness and enthusiasm. My car was returned in perfect condition, as clean as it was when I bought it. Sincerely, I cannot thank these wonderful people enough for making what could have been a nightmare situation a genuine pleasure. I popped in hoping to get an estimate. A customer told me you need an appointment a few days in advance. I went inside anyways and asked a couple questions about the paint on the roof of my car. Patrice Regnier assisted me and said he had a moment and could come out and look at the car (this was before closing too). He took a look at the damage and gave me honest advice. Advice that didn't include getting service through them but DIY. Great customer service, I felt very grateful to have gone in and seen him. Total wow! I needed to get my car fixed and before running into the Craftsman Collision at this location, I had tried first calling a few other ones due to distance. The other places that I called did not have friendly service and were not very welcoming, but when I called the Powell location, I was surprised at how NICE and PATIENT Vicki was. Throughout the process of getting my car fixed, Steve would give me updates on the status of my car and was very knowledgable on the matter. I picked my car up today, and both Steve and Vicki were yet again to no surprise, super welcoming and went beyond the scope of their work. I HIGHLY recommend this location and for a non-yelper like me to feel the need to write a positive review should speak volumes of the service the Powell location provides. read more

Simply put: OUTSTANDING!!!! I was there on Friday June 12th. I had scratched the car and was looking for a quote. I had a very friendly gentlemen help me out. He gave me two options - fix it properly $1500 + OR let him wash it off, polish and buffer and spot touch up with paint for... wait for it... FREE!!! Ummm what in life is free these days? I was a little skeptical because it was free but obviously opted to go that route. The car looks amazing - you seriously cannot tell unless your face is pressed up to the car. Amazing work, friendly happy people - this place is awesome. I will be back with all my business and have been raving to my friends and family. Seriously just go here - look no further!! Oh side note - while I was in the office the receptionist and the manager were making a card and organizing a gift for their mailman as his route was changing. Seriously I can't make this stuff up!! Took my Cayenne S to them this morning. Had small nick marks on the door. Greeted by a cheery Hello. The gentleman took a look at the SUV door and said it would cost me nothing to have it polished.Most of the marks would be gone. I was amazed by the level of customer service and professionalism from Dennis and his team. This gesture of customer service was amazing. I could not be happier with the service and quality at this Craftsman Collision. I dropped my car off and because I didn't have comprehensive coverage I was not able to get a free rental car. However, the manager was kind enough to give me a ride to work. He even had the car dropped off at my work when it was complete. The labor was performed in 2 day, which was one day ahead of schedule. This was great because I depend on my car as most people do and I was happy to get it back a day early. The quality of the work was excellent, it was like new. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was especially impressed with the care and customer service provided by the manager Greg Kirkby.
