I've been planning a small end of the year party to bid farewell to 2010, which has been a difficult and eventful year for us. At least the first part was. There have been several near death experiences and several people have died. I developed a vision of floating star shaped candles, white for those who have died and blue for those who have survived their brush w/ death. I searched for these candles in several stores w/o success, although I did find round floating candles in white at Jo~Ann. I found some star shaped candles on Amazon, white ones, blue and red. I held out hope that I could buy the blue ones. When I attempted to buy them I couldn't find a way to specify color on the Amazon site. I asked Customer Service and they referred me to Crafted Candles, the seller. I called their 800 number (1-800-635-0274) and spoke w/ a very helpful, friendly woman. I decided to buy 5 white and 4 blue. They come in 2" and 3" diameter. I chose the larger. They arrived today and look perfect. It's nice to know the vision I had was not confined to my imagination. They have candles in many different shapes. They have no brick and mortar store, just sell online. I recommend them if you need candles that are out of the ordinary. If, like me, you are mistrustful of products made in China, you will be pleased to know that the ones I bought, at least, are American made.
