Most shops smell of fresh bait, or plastics from the netting, line or packaging. This store's cigarette smoke smell was OVERWHELMING and about knocked us over when walking in. Despite the smell, the cashier was nice and had some helpful suggestions to make our fishing trip successful. The sodas were cold and inexpensive, and this shopkeeper seemed knowledgeable and the store was fairly priced.

I ordered a wing on Mar 2, it was delivered to my condo complex on Mar 6 and the product was missing from inside. I pursued the issue with my mailroom as well as the local post office and both entities said to work with the company because the package should have been insured so that a claim could be submitted. Unfortunately the package was not insured. As a result I am out $800+. I tried working with Jonathan and Jennifer and neither of them acknowledged the issue but rather blamed my mailroom stating that it was signed for and as a result they washed their hands of the issue. The shop came highly recommended from my buddies at Patrick AFB and unfortunately their level of customer service was not up to par. This could have been prevented by applying insurance onto the package and allowing the USPS claim process to work itself out. I was torn between the Hoka Speed Goats and Topos, but thanks to Rambo's expertise, I ultimately chose the Topos. They even brought several pairs of the Hokas over from their outlet location to the main store for me to make a decision, which was amazing. Dozens of brands are available, including my favorites of ECCO, Marmot, The North Face, and Wigwam. According to Google, Travel Country Outfitters had a particular jacket in stock at the lowest price--The North Face Venture 2 Jacket for $60 plus ground shipping for $10. The next day, this business shipped my package. Three days later, UPS delivered the package to my home. I really like the style, color, and quality of the jacket, and I look forward to wearing it. Travel Country Outfitters does not sell all of the brands and styles that I prefer, but I would definitely consider buying from them again in the future.

I explained that I was a complete newbie, that I had a 5w rod/reel combo and that I was fishing a small pond generally. I asked him to select some flies for me based on the information that I gave him since I didn't know the first thing about selecting flies. He gave me six flies, a box and recommend some extra line. I bought it all at a cost of well over $100. The next day I was told by an experienced fly fisherman that the flies I bought were much to big for my size line. I had no idea. So I wrote to Harry's and explained that I was given the wrong size flies. No one answered my email. Today I went back to Harry's to return the products that I had purchased a few days earlier. (I live over an hour from the store) I asked the same salesperson for a refund. He refused, stating that "It would be too hard to look up." Bottom line, even though I gave the salesperson exactly the information necessary, I was offered and bought over $100 in supplies that I can not possibly use. When I told this to the salesperson today, he just shrugged his shoulders. There is no doubt that I was taken advantage of because I am new to the sport of fly fishing. Vendors like these are predators and should be called out when they do things like this that hurt hard working people who don't have money to throw away. BTW: I am a veteran of the USAF.

Extremely RUDE and INCOMPETENT instructor - STAY AWAY!!…read more STAY AWAY FROM THIS SURF SCHOOL. Save your health and spend your time and money at a worthy surf school. There are plenty options out there at the coast. This school employs an instructor that risks your safety, aggressively speaks to you, offends you, blames you on his own mistakes, and slows down your progress! The instructor's impatience does not end with people. He regularly cuts down on important aspects of safety and lessons. He skips bringing the helmet which is used to protect your head as well as provide communication mic and speaker. He skips the practices of kite entry and exit to and from the water. Instead, he rushes out with your kite and board, mostly by riding it himself. He has clearly not been focusing on the lessons. Numerous times when I harshly fell off the surfboard he replied the request for guidance with "I was not watching". There were merely few times I went on the board, so where were you looking during these important times in an 1on1 lesson?!! The instructor risks you by riding off the jet ski to the shore and other spots while leaving you by yourself for lengthy intervals during 1on1 lessons. He uses your lesson time for surfing on his own instead of staying with you and using the jet ski to faster and more safely reach the surf spots. He further risks you, as well as others, by misusing and abusing the jet ski. At one time, he illegally did not take the life jackets. We were inspected by a police officer jet ski and nearly got a fine. He tends to surf away with the lesson kite leaving you far away on the jet ski. There are various hazards at this water area, including shallow sandbars where the jet ski gets stuck, lower speed channels, wooden poles sticking out, and crossing kite surfers to name few. But ethics are constantly overshadowed by his desire to ride your paid lesson's kite. The instructor is impatient to the level of shouting and cursing the client. This person clearly has problems with himself, troubled, and likely was on something to misbehave that way. He reflects bad on the 321 school, store, and the owner who employs him. I took a couple of lessons with 321 Kiteboarding and those were proved as a couple lessons too much. NO MORE!!
