Omg! Best seafood market ever. I'm from Louisiana and this is the only place I can get live Louisiana crawfish at a great price for being in NJ! Customer service is always great. They have everything from HUGE snow crab legs to live blue crabs male and female to homemade dipping sauces! I've always had a great experience here. My mom even enjoyed her visit here and trust me she's hard to please with seafood! Overall it's a great experience and I'm glad I found this place. The brothers that own this place have been great! My friend told me about this crab house in Newark. At first I was a little skeptical but after months of procrastinating I finally tried it out. And man I was blown away by how busy it is and how much crab they move! I saw customers leaving with 2 or 3 bushels! I ordered a half bushel males and it was the hit of the party. My only regret is that I didn't order more lol. Anyway long story short don't let the warehouse neighborhood stop you from trying this crab house out. Great fresh crabs and seafood. Don't be afraid of the medium size they are pretty good size and extremely fresh. I was a large or jumbo girl but they always sold out before my arrival, so I had no choice but to try the medium I thought they would be teeny tiny and nightmare to eat BUT they weren't that much smaller than large. we used to just go to the local supermarkets for crab legs but weren't happy with the lack of inventory or the small size of the king crab legs. we found this place on yelp and decided to try it out. I bought a ton of crabs from here for a party I was having in the Hamptons because a friend told me they were the best in the NY/NJ area. Definitely turned out to be true. They were a huge hit and everyone was asking where I got them. Price-wise I feel like I got a really good deal too. I guess they have a wholesale division as well. Just relocated to Essex County and went out searching for a fish market. Came across this gem instead! They only specialize in all kinds of FRESH crabs and shrimp. They even have their own seasoning which is a noticeable upgrade from the regular Oldbay seasoning. You won't find any whiting, porgies, bass, ling, etc. here.
