You can find free parking in the big lot on the far right. I do have to take off a star because the young guy that looked like he worked there, didn't acknowledge us. I would have been fine if he just sat us down and gave us the menus, but he didn't. I thought about leaving to be honest. One of the older women sat us. We got the combo B and that was more than enough for us. Yes we did finish the whole thing. The price for combo B is $100. You get crawfish, shrimp, mussels, clams, snow crab, potatoes, sausage, and corn. The size of the seafood is already bigger than the one in Illinois. We had the Cajun house special sauce. The service from the older women was fantastic. The seafood was delectable and I truly got my money's worth.

Lunch turns out is just as great as dinner. There are two lunch specials offered. Liz, recommended that I try their Fancy lunch. Oh my, oh my! Fancy lunch was next level as it comes with a lobster tail. I mixed mine up a bit with shrimp and green mussels. Both specials come with a drink, rice or garlic bread included. This place is addictive and clean. The flavor and service are consistent and great. It's safe to say I will be back

Yes we found a great Seafood Boil place in the South part of San Diego. As we live in the SouthBay it was hard to find a good one near by & we went to many. We always had to drive far & up north for a good one but not anymore because we found Crab City & my whole family loves it! First I got to talk about our waitress we had 2 times her name is Liz I belive, a young Asian girl, very polite, helpful, fast & very attentive. She is the reason I went up to 5 stars I was at a good solid 4 stars but her customer service & the rest of the staff push it to 5 stars & it's well earned. Also it's very clean inside & out, it can be a bit warm during the afternoon but they have good fans & little ones for your table if needed which is cool. Now let's talk about the food, AMAZING! Honestly the best Seafood Boil I've had, true story. The flavor is great if you get it spicy or not & I recommend get the shrimp with no head it's easier to eat & don't bring a white shirt you might get dirty as you should if you eat fast like me. Love the muscles, shrimp, crab leg, sausage & potatoes, potatoes come cut in half's, I cut those in half too before you shake the bag so there's more, they are pretty big. And don't sleep on their Cajan fries they're very good, also love their catfish it's mouth watering. Been here 3 times & the whole fam loves it, my daughters even come without us with their boyfriends. We live in Chula Vista & go out our way to come here & will continue to come. They have us as loyal customers for sure, keep up the great work Crab City & see you soon! :)

Lubia was so so so nice. She helped us out a lot since it was our first time. 10/10 customer service and 10/10 food. Definitely coming back and definitely recommend!!

    Lunch special - crawfish

First time visiting. I got the lunch special with crawfish, spicy. It was a generous portion for the price, and I enjoyed the cajun sauce. I took a star off because my friend got some hard-boiled eggs on the side and one of the halves was bad. She had to spit it out, and it took a few minutes for her stomach to settle. I let the restaurant know, and they offered to replace the egg for her, but after the bad egg, she lost her appetite and didn't want to take the chance. They didn't remove the eggs from the bill which I think was in poor taste. I'd be willing to return again but wouldn't trust the eggs. Other than that, the staff did a great job at making sure we were taken care of.

Seafood Boil: shrimp, snow crab legs and mussels

This was my first time having a seafood boil, and wow what an introduction! I had the shrimp, snow crab legs, and mussels with a mild Cajun sauce, plus a side of lemon, salt, pepper, and butter. It came out hot, juicy, and fresh. The portion was huge. I could barely finish it but every bite was flavorful and satisfying. The service was just right: friendly, helpful, and attentive without being overbearing. They checked on me multiple times and made sure I had everything I needed. Now let's talk about cleanliness....immaculate. From the front door to the bathroom (which, yes, was so clean you could eat in there--though I wouldn't), everything was spotless. That matters when you're cracking crabs with gloves and a bib, and your table's covered in a white paper sheet. They've got it down to a science. I've had some great meals during my San Diego visit, but this spot ranks near the top. If you're in Barrio Logan and craving seafood, don't miss this gem!

Ordered 1 lb of crawfish and 1 lb of shrimp. I was hoping it would be separate as I wanted crawfish and my husband wanted shrimp, however it came in a bag. No big deal we just separated it. The shrimp were definitely jumbo sized, and we got about 10 pieces for 1 lb order. A bit overcooked and made it hard to peel. Crawfish was really disappointing, they were not fresh and probably either dead or dying. They were gray, tasted weird and we were not fans. Sausage were cut to a decent side. The house sauce is okay, nothing amazing or spectacular. Definitely better options around.

Okay, my search for the best San Diego seafood boil has officially ended after trying crab city. This is actually my go-to place from now on when it's my bf and I's monthly seafood boil date. Growing up in Orange County, I've been spoiled with bomb seafood boil places like kicking crab. When I moved to San Diego, I found it hard to find anywhere that was comparable... until now. Crab city is located below an apartment? and near a lot of other restaurants so there was plentiful of parking! We came around 7pm and didn't have to wait :) My bf and I ordered the spicy combo A in Cajun house special sauce which comes with a lb each of crawfish, shrimp, clams, and mussels. Surprisingly, we also found corn, potatoes and sausage in our dish!! We also ordered a side of Cajun fries and omg so good, it wasn't spicy but the dry Cajun seasoning somehow tastes different from what I'm used to but I'm definitely a fan! The sauce for the boil is THICKKK, just how we like it where there's chunks of garlic in it. Their sauce is so good, like I can't get over how perfect it is with the perfect balance of Cajun and garlic. Their 'spicy' had a kick but was still enjoyable! I'm definitely coming back once a month with my boyfriend and will be telling all my friends!

Liz taking our crab boil out of the bag.

We came here on Saturday March 14, 2026 to celebrate my nephew's 12th birthday and he wanted CRAB! It was our first time, but had a recommendation from family members. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted by Liz. Very warm, polite and welcoming. We order (2) crab, shrimp (headless) boil along with an order of calamari, wing and fries. It was too much for us to eat and the portions are generous. The crab boil we had was spicy and garlicky the sauce is very tasty. The calamari, wings are fried in a light batter that's not greasy at all. Reminds me of how my Mom would fry here chicken-delicious. Liz was our server and she is very nice and kept checking with us to make sure we had all we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good quality food! Thank you for the great service & food. Karen & Denise

It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! I came late night around 830pm and they close at 9. They didn't rush me to order and were so nice about me coming in 30 mins to closing. It was super spacious and very clean inside. Parking was easy on a weds night. It was $90 for combo A and added a half pound of shrimp. They actually don't do half pounds here but since it was just me and my friend they said they would make an exception! We spent $90 and $10 for tip. It's expensive but so worth it!

The place is always clean and orders are always organized

I absolutely love this place. The flavor is amazing just the right spice for me. I always get mild house special. The seafood is always fresh and hot. Adding on to the amazing taste, I have to mention the beyond amazing customer service. My family and I have been coming here for the last 3 years. Let me start with Sandra, she is so knowledgeable of the menu and always suggests the best dishes. Always greets us with a smile and is in point refilling our drinks. Lluvia is also very kind and attentive to our needs. Always friendly and approachable. She definitely makes us feel appreciated and welcome. Last but not lease, Liz is always nice and remembers our preference even when I call on the phone she recognize my voice and always remember my favorite dish. And when we dine in she's always happy to see us. Overall, this place is amazing! Fantastic food and excellent customer service.

Best place to grab a drink, ask for Luvia to make you a michelada. Never fails, always amazing. Greetings before opening the door, smiling staff, a great atmosphere. I have been coming here since they opened. Love the staff from the kitchen to the front (Richard,Sandra, Luvia). The owner really has a great crew.

I always order via Grubhub from here a few times already. I've never dined in. I like their seafood combo A it's pretty inexpensive and I like their seasonings. Their crawfish are huge and they have forgotten clams in my combo before and didn't notify me if they were all out. I get all the above for sauces cajun house special and usually get either spicy or very spicy when I'm needing that kick. Their sauce could be thicker but it's pretty good it's not salty or sweet. I do wish they included bibs, gloves, and even lemon and salt and pepper when you do takeout though because it'd be a helpful touch. I've requested it many times but have been ignored all those items every time.

There was still a significant line, but when we finally got to the front, the waitress taking our order wouldn't even look at us. She spent a good portion of our "turn" chatting with another waitress before finally turning to us--still with zero eye contact. We ordered a cioppino, a clam chowder in a sourdough bowl, fish and chips, and a dozen oysters. I noticed she shouted the soup orders back to the kitchen but didn't say a word about the fish and chips. When I specifically asked her if she got the fish and chips, she said "yes," took my card, and sent us to a table. Our soups and oysters arrived after 15 minutes, but another 30 minutes passed with no sign of the rest of the meal. When I followed up with the same waitress to check on the status, she looked at the order and flatly told me there were no fish and chips on there. By that point, the restaurant was already closing. She asked if I still wanted them, but after waiting that long and dealing with that level of indifference, I just said no. Extremely disappointing experience. If you're going to stay open for customers, you should at least provide basic communication and hospitality. I won't be coming back.

The eggs and corn were delicious and helped retain that saucy flavor. I do not recommend the French fries, that did taste like freezer food and it did not hold a nice after taste. Way too much food for two people but so worth it! The brussels sprouts were hearty and the calamari was nice and crunchy, topped with a zesty sauce. The lobster roll was served either Maine-style (cold) or Connecticut-style (warm). I ordered it cold and when it arrived, I did not leave a single crumb on the plate. 3/14/26: Stacking up the reviews, so buckle up! *so much has happened recently*…read more My curly haired cutie loves her some Cherry Blossoms! So much so, that she has a beautiful tattoo of them on her arm! Obviously, we're hitting the Cherry Blossom Festival at the Japanese Friendship Garden! It was whelming. Not quite a full bloom this year. (we'll see a better one in a few reviews...stay tuned). And what better way to satiate your appetite after a brisk walk around the Cherry Blossom trees? The staple. The spot. The Prado! Only here for some morsels, as other plans have been made. Luckily, the Cantina Menu works perfectly! Guac and chips are a perfect pairing for the margaritas that are about to be ordered. Eating light, because like Remo Williams, the adventure beings! (nobody's going to get this) However, how can you say no to this intoxicating enchantress who guides you on a savory side quest? And it paid off! The food was delicious! We shall return to explore more of the menu. The drinks are here! Blood Orange Margarita for your amigo, because you can't say "tajin on the rim" & me NOT want it. My lovely lady doesn't miss a beat with her Spicy Mezcal Margarita. She likes her drinks like her man, strong & spicy. *flattery will get you anywhere* I cannot complete my review without saying how nice everyone is here. Our server was delightful & so ready to suggest any alternative as we were about to ask. "Gl..." Yes, we have a gluten free option. "Um..." Yes, we can put this on the side. Mind readers, I say! Lovely pitstop when you're on the go. Or if you have time, come check out the happy hour. TL:DR - The right one makes anywhere the right place.

I was here for happy hour, otherwise I would not pay 17$ or 23$ for fish tacos. I loved their birria queso dip and their fish tacos were very decent. The carrot cake was also pretty mild and good. I did not like the mole chicken wings, but then again I dont like mole anything. The rolled tacos lacked a good bit of meat and the happy hour prices were hardly "happy" hour prices, but again, this place was awesome to chill at and the atmosphere is quite cool. Sometimes thats all you need. An awesome vibe amd environment and good servers!

I'm always drawn to inventive seafood tacos, especially when they showcase different preparations, and this spot absolutely delivered. We sampled the blackened swordfish, the estilo Baja white fish (light, crisp, and exactly what you want from a classic), and started with the smoked fish dip all paired with margaritas that were dangerously smooth, more like fresh juice than a cocktail. Nothing missed the mark: from the rich, smoky dip to the perfectly seasoned blackened taco and the satisfying crunch of the fried option, each bite was thoughtfully executed. A detail I loved each order comes with two tacos, making it ideal for sharing and tasting your way through the menu. The freshness of the fish really shines and sets the tone for a proper taco crawl. Though the space is on the smaller side, with limited indoor seating and a cozy patio, it adds to the charm. It's the kind of intimate setting that invites you to linger, people watch, and take in the vibrant artwork that defines Barrio Logan. The staff is quick and detailed with honest feedback. A couple of notes: they're closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and parking is street-only, so plan accordingly. But once you're there, the flavors more than make up for any extra effort.

Naturally, that immediately moved this place to the top of our "must try" list. We grabbed a table outside on the patio & soaked up the absolutely glorious San Diego sunshine while enjoying oysters & wine - a perfect vacation moment! The outdoor atmosphere was relaxed & ideal for people watching. The staff was friendly & welcoming from the start. There was a small mix-up because the pricing listed on the website had not been updated, so the oysters were actually $1.50 each instead of $1. We thought they might honor it but that was a no-go. Honestly, still a good deal for fresh oysters in such a great location. I also had a beautiful French rosé that paired perfectly with the oysters. This was one of those gorgeous travel afternoons where everything just felt relaxing & enjoyable.
