Crepe Affaire claim that their crepes are healthy. It's opened ended, yes healthier than a plate of sausages and chips but I think there's a bit of deception here and that makes me suspicious and has therefore knocked a star off the ratings. I have a rather unsophisticated palate and the idea of more than 3 ingredients all running a muck in a flour rollup is quite frightening. So I stayed away from the savoury selection and chose an apple with cinnamon. You can't really go wrong with that and they don't. I just found it a little unremarkable really. I'm not sitting here and craving one as I write. The space at Spitalfields is great and it's a good looking shop with large glass plate windows and everything all new and shiny.

Firstly J'ador crepes! I've been in Crepeaffaire a few times, the last time I came here was on my lunch break, I ordered a savoury crepe with smoked salmon and scrambled egg! delicious! from what I remember though it was a little expensive over £5.. but in saying that the quality is great. They have outdoor seating which is nice in the summer time of course. Looking forward to going here again.

Apple crumble crepe. Hits the G-spot of my taste buds. Something no restaurant in downtown London has done yet.

First impression - expensive for the amount of food given. But once that delicious crepe entered my mouth I than realize what I was paying for. AN EXPLOSION OF SWEET RIPE APPLES, WITH THAT TOUCH OF CARAMEL GLAZE REALLY HIT THE SPOT! The crumble added the right balance of texture to the taste. My wife ordered the crepe classic (ham and cheese) just what you would expect from a ham and cheese crepe. One of the staff was rude but Silvie over compensates for her coworkers lack of charm and politeness.

I am not very fond of this chain of cafes. Judging from previous experiences, I have come to the conclusion that their crepes are overpriced, not very tasty, and lack ingredients. Even their coffee is watery. Perhaps I am just being bitter since my mother is a crepe queen, and I was often spoiled with her crepes while growing up. But then again, I have tasted much better and cheaper crepes in markets and stands as well. I don't know... judge for yourselves.

Ohlala, la crepe! The French version of a pancake, only thinner, and may I say, better? I am a big crepe fan, weather they are filled with salty ingredients or sweet ones. This simple dish is so versatile it goes perfect with both and I will eat them all. This lovely place, which looks like a big chain, and its bound to be only not yet, serves the most delicious crepes this side of the Thames. If I could recommend you one sweet and one salty, id say, go for the Belgian Chocolate Crêpe with milk chocolate, and for the salty one stick to the Classic crepe. Make sure when you pay you get a loyalty card, after buying 8 crepes you get one free!

Cute little espresso to-go cups!

Walking up and down Primrose Hill had me feeling exceptionally hungry, so I walked the few blocks…read moreover to Camden Town. I wanted something that was grab-and-go, and on the sweet side to wash out the flavor of mediocre pulled pork and cheap macrobrewed beer, so a creperie seemed to be the obvious choice. This stand is in the Inverness Street market, extremely conveniently located right off the Camden Town underground station. The menu is actually fairly extensive for a stand like like this. 20-25 different crepes in all, half sweet and half savory gluten-free galettes(though I believe you can also have these on a flour-based crepe as well). The menu also has beverages, like coffee, fresh juice, and more. The staff are extremely friendly and will happily help you find the perfect crepe to suit your mood. The preparation can also be quite dramatic and fun to watch, which seemed to be a big hit with kids. I wound up with the Africanism, which consisted of your choice of chocolate(white, milk, or dark) combined with coconut and rhum. The crisp edges were perfectly matched with the rich white chocolate. The crunch of the coconut and the slight hint of rhum really added a lot of depth to the flavor of the crepe. I walked away with it piping hot and satiating my sweet tooth and desire for a quick treat. This stand is simple, convenient street food, with 90% of the menu coming in at under 4£, it's a great stop for something easy to eat as you begin your walk through the extensive Camden markets.

Found them in Camden Town. Wonderful. Breakfast or lunch or snack. Custom orders from a cute little…read moretrailer. They actually have little basil plants growing that they pick from for your crepe. Vegetarian. Good espresso too.
