I took the PALS provider course today for the first time in many years. George Templeton was the instructor. I had taken ACLS in the past with George. George is extremely knowledgeable and has many yrs experience in various fields. He's an excellent instructor. Not only does he know his material but...he also speaks from experience, which I, personally, found interesting and helpful. George is a very sincere, personable, professional instructor who makes you feel at ease. One can tell, after being in his class, that he loves what he does and is very dedicated. He's not there to intimidate but...to educate in a very relaxed, personable way. Unfortunately, in the past when I've taken ACLS classes, some of the instructors were intimidating and unforgiving and...it shouldn't be that way. I highly recommend CPR123 to anyone who needs provider classes or re-cert in BLS, PALS, ACLS, etc. You won't be disappointed! In Sept. In general the majority of ACLS & BLS courses are the same because they abide by AHA guidelines so with that said it comes down to the staff & instructors. CPR123's staff at San Antonio, TX went above & beyond to make training eventful & practical without making a difficult subject like ACLS training a tedious prerequisite in order to be a healthcare provider. Instructor Sam & Samantha broke every step down into manageable pieces & due to Sam's decades of experiences in the hospital & field setting put all the over the head ACLS / BLS ideas into practical context & real life situations. The in person event was much more enjoyable than hybrid internet courses which forces you to take on 15-20 online scenarios on your own without guidance or immediate corrections. Highly recommend CPR123 for renewal or 1st time ACLS takers whether you are a field responder, hospital staff, dentist, police officer or even a non-healthcare provider looking out for family & friends. read more

I attended the CPR for Healthcare Professionals class. George, the instructor, was engaging and thoroughly answered all questions. He was also pretty funny, which made a class that tends to be mundane (after taking it countless times) much more enjoyable. I am more confident in my CPR skills and glad to be re-certified for another two years! CPR 123 also invites all of the class participants to come back any time while their certificates are still valid for free refreshers. The only downside was that the building was difficult to locate due to the construction, but the receptionist was kind enough to call and send me in the right direction. read more

I had the pleasure of attending an ACLS certification course at this location. It went above and beyond my expectations. The equipment and learning materials, including the megacode simulation computer software, used through out the course were amazingly helpful when I was asked to demonstrate the skills I was learning. I would greatly recommend this certification location to all looking to further their spectrum of skills. Woohoo! As good as it gets, says it all! George was an awesome instructor for PALS! He presented the material in a very conversational yet informative matter that was easy to follow. He has a knack for making everyone feel as ease and confident in there skills despite their nervousness. Class length was perfect. Not so long that I lost interest yet not too short where I felt cheated. He was thorough and covered all material yet I feel it was time well spent. I just completed BLS, ACLS and PALS certification at CPR123, and I had a great time! I initially signed up to renew my BLS, but after attending the class I was inspired to obtain my ACLS and PALS (all in the same week)! This place is great!! I felt comfortable interacting in class and asking questions. The Director, George Templeton is so pleasant to be around! He kept the courses upbeat and very educational. The staff is great! I've taken BLS many times before, and I was expecting to sit through a boring class trying to stay awake. I had instructor George Templeton, and he actually made the class really interesting. He shared examples from his years of experience and engaged us in real-world scenarios where we might be confused about what to do. He was also really funny and personable. This is what a BLS class should be like. I left with my card feeling like I had actually learned something new. Did my ACLS here and would highly recommend it to anyone. George was excellent, funny and engaging. The interactive screen used to run the codes was really high tech and cool, I've never seen that anywhere else before and I think it's he perfect tool to teach with because it shows you the comprehensive overview of the patient. Great teaching tool and I think it helped people to better understand what all you need to look at when a patient is in a code situation. I was so pleased with this service. It was not a busy day for them and I was the only person who had registered for the BLS recertification course at that particular time in the day, but they didn't ask me to reschedule, which shows a lot of integrity. I had 1:1 time with the instructor and we completed the course in time for me to complete hospital rounds and get home in time for dinner. George was thorough and professional. I actually had a great time in this class. George was a top notch instructor who was able to present a great knowledge about the material as well as ensure everyone else was comfortable learning. In all my years in the medical field I have never been to a place where I felt so comfortable. The instructor George was extremely professional and personable. He was even nice enough to bring donuts to make coffee for the students. I was very nervous as it was my first time attending a PALS course. Pedi is not my strong suit. And despite being in the middle of the move you would never know it. The classroom was very clean and organized. I will definitely be returning for more classes. read more

Out of all the times I've taken a CPR course, I never had so much fun!! George keeps the class laughing and learning at the same time!! He points out all of the important points and I feel confident in knowing that if I ever have to participate in a BLS situation, I will know what to do! Boy, oh boy did the time fly in this class. Not only did I learn more than I have ever learned in any BLS/CPR class but I was enjoying the ride the entire time. The instructor, George, was amazing and very knowledgeable. Mannequins were provided for each student to practice on along with hand sanitizer and social distancing. The price was right also. Awesome ACLS recert with George Templeton! There always seems to be shortages of available class options when your card is going to expire. CPR123 fills that void. I took the CPR- BLS course for the health providers. This course was organised and very clear . It cleared my concepts and the numbers were also made clear . It was much better than last time in which they showed us a video for about 2 hours . The instructors explained everything so well and demonstrated the important things required.
