Their clubhouse is brand new and hosts a check in desk, beer & wine bar, and snack shop. Bring your own food or have theirs it's all good. They just ask that beer and wine are purchased on property. Pool is open Memorial Day to Labour Day approximately. The highlight of the property is the clay tennis courts excellently maintained. 8 courts in all. They have 4 pickleball courts as well. All courts are lighted and well maintained. This club is full of fun/competitive adults and kids of all experience levels. They have a couple on site pro's that can get your game to wherever you want. They also have adult learn to play, men's/women's leagues and competitive tennis all the way up the rating ladder. Club is family owned and they love tennis and pickleball. They both work to put on wine nights, group events, kids pool parties and in my opinion the dues are cheap. Check them out if you need some pool time, a gym, club, tennis/pickle courts or just a sense of community.

There is tons of seating available, typically a four chair, table and umbrella set up. There are some tables kind of tucked away in pretty spots but these are all first come first serve so arrive early. This establishment is CASH ONLY. The water is not "pool clean". There is a lot of sand everywhere and the water looks more like lake water. CAREFUL!! Stairs, paths and walkways are NOT level, or the same size; watch your step. The place is a bit run down and I didn't notice any life guards. But nothing looked hazardous. There are plenty of entry and exit points into and out of the water. The shallow end is 9inches and the deep end is 9ft In the women's bathroom there was only one "changing stall" - such as it was - and two toilets that were working questionably. For little ones: They can hang out in the shallow end, or go down the assortment of little slides. The 16 month old with us had a fun time. For big kids/adults: There is a rope swing, a large slide and a volley ball net. The 17 and 21 year old with me had fun. 12 and under could probably spend all day here. (At $8-$11 a person that's not bad!). After a few hours the adult [kids] were bored and ready to go. I did the big slide a few times and it was fun. I could see us potentially going back. Upkeep/cleanliness of the bathroom/locker facilities is as expected for a community pool: far from pristine, but not horribly disgusting. Of course, eveything is just going to be all wet plus kids tread in/out all day so go figure. The locker rooms are a pretty good size though with plenty of bathroom stalls and lockers (appears must bring own lock although I have not used the lockers). There are also private shower areas as well as the area to shower immediately before entering pool. I registered for Individual swim lessons online and there was also opt for group lessons. The lessons fill fast, but it is posted on the website regarding the rollout dates each month for upcoming swim lesson. There is also various opts for season passes for which I was able to register online, but also have to pay a small fee per visit as well. Only cash/check is accepted on site. Passes/lesson registration can also be obtained in-person at the Academy Rec Center next door. There are some adjacent covered picnic table areas (outside of the pool area). There is also plenty of seating around the pool as well. Open swim hours are daily, but limited to afternoon til early evening. Sufficient number of lifeguards have always been on duty when I have visited.

They have two separate machines and free weight areas, two areas where you can use treadmills or ellipticals, and then the walking track that the woman who showed me around said 16 laps equal a mile. The pool is closed on Tuesday until 9:00 AM and so I stuck to working out on machines for this visit. There wasn't a lot of people there so that is a good thing to me, nothing worse for a gym than an overcrowded gym.

A nice young woman gave me a tour of the facilities and I was able to sign up for a low monthly fee. I couldn't believe what was included; Two huge lap pools, workout equipment, classes I can choose from, spin classes, and a walking track, sauna and a Jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is down at the moment but they are working on it. The locker room and bathrooms were so clean, I was very impressed. I dove in and did my first 14 laps and it felt so good. The whole fitness area was very clean. Can't wait for the next visit.
