Midtown has nice kennels, treat the dogs well and have a nice outdoor area. I also like that they are right next door to a 24x7 veterinary clinic in case of an emergency. They also let the groomers from next door work with your dog during his/her stay. Love that! It is great to be able to pick your dog up on a Sunday. Others like to charge you for an extra night. But, more importantly, why put your dog through staying an additional night? They do not nickel and dime you to death like one of the others in town. The other charges to give your dog treats, walks, etc. No thank you to the additional charges. Just treat my dog well! This is, in my opinion, the best in Granbury.

The shuttle pulls up, we say to Indy "do you want to go to camp?" He runs to the door jumping up and down and barking. When we open it, he runs out the door and jumps straight into the van....doesn't even look back or wave. LOL! Their Facebook page has lots pictures of the dogs having a great day. They get tons of exercise. Knowing that Indy's not just locked in a kennel all day gives us lots of peace of mind. He's having as much fun at camp as we are on vacation. Scott, Dana and the whole staff are wonderful. My only worry is if he will want to come home!

The grounds are beautiful and the pool is a major plus on hot days. Water bowls are everywhere. The price for the services offered are spot on... no hidden costs. I was just browsing at first but decided to grab Ollie some dog ice cream (they come in a 4-pack). The sales lady--who I believe is also the owner--offered to just sell me one instead of the whole pack, which was awesome and so thoughtful. I think it was literally just a dollar. The shop itself isn't huge like a PetSmart, but it's well laid out, easy to find what you're looking for, and has a really homey, family-run feel. The employees were genuinely kind and welcoming to me and my buddy. Granbury is a little out of the way for me, but honestly, I wouldn't mind the drive again--customer service like this goes a long way. Thanks for making us feel so welcome!
