Even now, though I only visit the area occasionally, I've bought jewelry here, repaired jewelry, modified jewelry, have had jewelry custom-made, and they are always easy to work with and very professional. When I walked into McGivern, I was immediately greeted and treated so kindly. Staff went the extra mile to help me and explain the timing, cost and options. My resizing and appraisals were completed in about 7 days which I thought was remarkable. My next trip in, I decided to resize a bracelet and reset a ring. Mike personally helped me and was incredibly helpful. Once my jewelry updates were complete- within the stated timeframe, by the way- I picked them up and I was absolutely floored at how beautifully they turned out. I would recommend McGivern to everyone and anyone and I plan to use them, exclusively, for any future jewelry needs.

I just purchased a watch from them as my old one died, and I am very happy with it. I am sure I will need to bring it in at some point since I am not kind to my watches.

Nestled in downtown Bowling Green this shop has equal parts charm and hometown flavor…read more There are plenty of things for just about everyone. My only two complaints: there is too much inventory for such a small location. Literally. The aisle ways are narrow and when you have a bulky jacket and basket it makes moving around the store a little tricky. The second complaint is the staff. There are only two people on the floor and often times they are overwhelmed and not exactly the most welcoming.

My boyfriend tried to order me a bracelet 3 different times, using a Chase card, and they flagged the account each time. This place, at least online, is a scam. They say they will refund his money but time will tell. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
