Dr Coy takes the time to listen to you, get you what you need and he really cares. I recommend him to all my friends.

As a two decade patient, I can say Yes, you will be taken care of by doctor Coy! This place is another story! It is run like a clinic. It is hard to get a timely appointment, no one will really remember you on your following visits and you best not forget your questions, medications or referrals because, you will NOT get help until your next appointment. As soon as you leave you will receive a skewed survey that looks to give them a 5 star rating. It shows a happy/sad face; if you click the happy, you do the online survey. Dr Coy Is a nice guy and does talk and give you the time (although he is always over booked and running behind) .So this review isn't about him. His front office staff is so completely rude! I think the Asian ladies name is Olivie. She is the worst person to deal with. She sits there with a pissed off face and does the bare minimum , then talks to you like you're bugging her! I had an appt at 5:20pm. I get there, check in of course no hello or anything of value from her mouth- then she calls me to the counter and said she is going to reschedule my appt because she can not verify my insurance at the ins company is closed. Well of course they are- it's after hours, knowing this, they should have verified insurance before my appt! It took my over a month to get an appt with Dr coy , I drive 30 mins and you just tell me you're going to reschedule?!! She wouldn't even explain to me besides pointing at the print out of the paper that was facing her so I obviously can't read the small print upside down! Be a decent human and explain to me why I just wasted my time! This isn't the first time I've dealt with her rudeness. Every time I come, She is that way! My friends come to this office too and they know EXACTLY who I'm talking about when I told the story. This woman needs to find a job at a factory where she doesn't have to be "bothered" with the public. Office waits are always painfully long. You wait for over an hour just to be seen . Usually I assume when I go that I'll be stuck there for 2+ hours. Dr coy is a nice man, but I will not return. The staff and their lack of concern are too much for me. read more

Dr, Coy has been my primary doctor for a few years now. I can not say enough good about Dr. Coy. His entire staff is welcoming and helpful. I never have a problem understanding things I need to know at my appointments because Dr Coy is so thorough. Even during busy time. He takes his time to make sure I have all of my concerns and questions answered before he walks out of the door. His attitude is so cheerful each visit. Great doctor for Intermountain system. I have been going to Dr. Coy 4 over 10 years now & i feel like a part of his family. He is a wonderful, smart, caring & very competent Doctor. He's probably the nicest Person i've ever met which is just the icing on the cake & im always thrilled to see him. Eric, Jessica & all the staff there always goes above & beyond to help me. The fact that you make an appointment is understood your not there just to wait. It's happened more then once, consecutively. I would make an appointment and end up waiting over an hour. Then when I'm called in I have to wait again. What is the point in making an appointment? Well he is a great dr.if it weren't for that, no point in waiting. read more

Dr. Coy is a great physician. He is kind, caring, and collaborative. He takes time to listen to your concerns. He makes referrals when needed and is thorough in his examination. My spouse and I both see Dr. Coy and have very different expectations and needs in a doctor. I prefer a natural approach and I'm very proactive in my care; my spouse is more ambivalent and less health conscious. I really hate going to the doctor in general, that said, I feel comfortable with Dr. Coy and trust his judgement. He is willing to consider non-medication related options but will also prescribe medications when needed. Dr. Coy respects my values and practices ethical medicine. Please note that this review is specific to Dr. Coy and not Healthcare Partners, the organization that employs him. I have frustrations with the staff there, but they do not reflect on the medical care given by Dr. Coy. Decent medical care is hard to find in this town as it is. This doctor is one of the most caring professional doctors I've ever seen. I feel that he really cares about his patients taking the time to treat not just a symptom but the person as a whole. He takes his time and listens and follows through always. I'm hesitant to leave a review though as I don't want him to get too over booked and not be able to fit me in! I saw Dr. Coy today.He knew the answers to the questions I asked. No lectures about what I should be doing. I felt completely at ease with him. What a sweet and polite person. He is an exemplary listener and can make a trip to the Dr's office a very nice experience.His staff is well qualified and efficient also. His personality is one of a caring, thoughtful person, and answers any questions you may have. I feel extremely fortunate to have found such a wonderful Dr. that I could place my complete trust in. He is also very reassuring,so well educated and extremely knowledgeable. Updating my review. I am so impressed with the total professionalism of the staff that I have had the pleasure of dealing with over the past few weeks. Phone calls are returned promptly, referrals dealt within two or three days at the very most. It is truly beyond words to communicate my total satisfaction. All I can say is everybody is on the same page. I am quite serious, no more wondering when, if ever when whatever issues I have will be addressed with total efficiency and efficacy. Update-Still am in awe again about how quickly my telephone calls are returned! Seriously unbelievable.! The ladies and gentlemen on his staff are so polite and friendly. You get both a extremely competent doctor plus an awesome staff. The five stars are the maximum, but I would give them way more than that in a heartbeat. What a wonderful feeling. A certain nurse told me that if I was ever sick or hurting, I could feel free to come in without appointment. I went to pick up some blood work last week. Absolutely overwhelming!! No hassles that Dr Coy had to look at it with me first before it was released to me. The office lady gave me a copy in less than 5 minutes. Dr Coy has been my Primary for about 10 years. He's very attentive and compassionate. I recommend that when you see your doctor be prepared with questions and issues you might want to be addressed because that's the only way they could help you. Dr Coy takes his time and answers my questions and makes necessary referrals. He is usually booked 2 months out so plan ahead. What I dislike about the office is that the lady at check in is very rude. Sometimes so is the nurse who takes your vitals so your experience until you see Dr Coy could raise your blood pressure to put that lightly. Well today I met the nicest of all the nurses, Lakeisha. She was engaging, polite, and attentive. She definitely makes up for the rude lady at the front. Lol. The rest of the staff could learn to be as compassionate because in this day and age, people could use more positivity, especially at the doctor's office. Dr. Coy has been my doctor for a while now. He is the best doctor I've ever seen. He is polite, understanding, and listens. He prescribes medication when needed. I believe I drive him crazy (lol), because I'm constantly needed a new refferal to somewhere because I'm trying to find a good Gastroenterologist and can't seem to get any help for my Crohn's disease, but Dr. Coy is on top of it always giving me exactly what I need and happy to do so! The refferals are done within 2-3 days max. His staff are friendly and very easy to get ahold of. I will always continue to see Dr. Coy. read more

My husband and I have been patients of this practice for many of years. We date back to when it was on Rainbow under Dr.Pollard. We saw Dr.Pollard and he retired and it was taken over by these three doctors. Of course, we were a bit skeptical at first, Dr.Coy, Dr.Everson, and Dr. Bouye. All three of these doctors have remained there over the last 10 years and we couldn't be happier. Imagine being in a city this big for the last 16 years like myself and finding doctors that haven't moved, retired or found another job. These guys were here to stay, in fact since they have been there the practice has improved 10 fold. They moved to a nicer facility down the street still on rainbow it's more roomy and clean. They take appointments only accept walk in's twice a day first thing in the morning and first thing after lunch. If your there you get seen. So, if your really ill, I suppose you'll make time to be there. They see you in a timely manner for your scheduled appointments, except for the forgetting to file a referral once and a while. I really like these Dr.'s Dr.Coy is friendly and spends the time with you to talk to you ask you questions and take care of your needs. He knows us by sight and our names in a city of 2 million people that is impressive. Dr.Everson we have seen many times as well, he is very nice and pleasant a different demeanor than Dr. Coy, He is a good doctor with his diagnosis, knowledgeable and a good listener. He sorts out your problem right away and does not waste any time. Dr.Bouye, I have only seen twice and both times over the years was very pleasant. Dr. Coy is a nice doctor and all, but if you are experiencing anything out of the normal every day illnesses he is not the doctor for you. He is a pill pusher and trys to see you as quick as possible. It is very hard to schedule an appointment because he has hundreds of patients. I have been experience the same symptoms and pain for 4 months now and he doesn't have any answers or possible answers for me. He forgets what medication he has prescribed me and doesnt seem concerned about my pain and symptoms that i constantly have to remind him that im having. Been seeming him every two weeks hoping something will change and he will start to see that whats going on with is not normal and is affecting my life, but he just says he doesn't know and attributes symptoms to "anxiety", and tell me not to worry about it. I would no recommend this doctor at all. read more
