First they were built with insulation, so I had to come back in 2 weeks for insulation to be added. Then there were no doors for the filter racks and they seemed surprised to know this was needed. Another two weeks for this. Third time, someone else must have built them over from scratch, and they actually looked great. I have them installed and was happy until I tried to insert my filters. (I had them spec'd for 2" filters that I would need to order. I gave them the sizes. (30x24x2). They made the space at 29.5x23.5x 1.5. That is "nominal filter size". And filters won't fit at all. The metal isn't 100% straight, insulation inside was not cut back enough to allow the filter to slide in, and lastly, there are rivets all along the space for where the filter should slide. I've cut my expensive and nonreturnable filters all to hell trying to get them to go in... but they won't. Especially with all the rivets catching on them. So I don't know what to do now. I spent $1300 on these 4 plenums. It's summer in Texas and I don't have filters on my brand new ac units.
