I called the guy at 8:40 am & left a message. He called back 10 min. later. He was at my house 2 hours later with a bid. 3 hours later he was on sight working on the tree. 2 hours later he was done & loaded. Professional, great communication. paid this company $1500 to remove a fallen tree and repair 12 feet of fence. after 2 weeks he's still not removed the tree or repaired the fence yet he keeps asking for money to get his truck out of the shop! We hired Cox to trim some trees and cut down a holly bush. They only stayed 1 day and still did not come back to finish the job. They got one of their trucks struck in our side yard and left ruts in yard. They just stomped the ruts with their feet, still not returned to complete work. We have called the number listed, and it goes straight to voice mail. We are considering a lawyer . Mr. Cox has a history of him not completing his job, damaging property. He states he has BBB but does not. He is not LLC but he is not. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. Scamer! read more

Complete scam. Do not hire. I fell for the reviews and was dumb enough to give a deposit. Never arrived when he said they would. Every follow up I made was met with another excuse. Weeks without any action. Finally gave up and hired someone else. I consider the deposit the price for a valuable lesson since I don't expect to see any of that again. read more

Cox is either extremely incompetent or a lying scammer. My guess he's both. He did a sloppy job of taking down my trees and never finished the job. Then he used a boiler plate excuse for not completing the job. Still, he never showed up. Unfortunately, I read other similar very bad reviews on his work after my own experience. Cox tree removal is a scam he was suppose to cut down our oak tree, clean and haul it away we gave him deposit he didn't finish the tree he left it half done my yard a mess because he DOESN'T care about your property and he didn't haul all that he left on the curb it if wasn't because the city he would probably left it all there he broke my fence part of my concrete patio and has no intention of fixing it since he has been back since the beginning of September and he started in June. Also we had to hire someone else to clean our yard and to haul it away i have to fix my fence and patio. If ya hire him to give him any money till he finishes his job or better yet get someone else that has insurance aan license i strongly don't believe he does i also have pictures as proof i wouldn't give him a single star if i could only live a review but sadly i need to give him one. read more
