Cant refill early so frequently off the meds I need. Toss in limited availability of the drug it might be more days or I might now have to call around for a pharmacy that had it and submit another request to change the pharmacy and start the 72 hour wait again. The receptionist is a malignant person who shouldn't be allowed in her position. Christy (sp?)…read morebasically treated someone who moved to the area calling to make an appointment to establish care in the area like a drug seeker, because they wanted to continue medication that they had been doing well on for nearly a decade for a diagnosed medical condition. And despite the patient going through hours of cognitive testing and doing well on treatment for a diagnosed medical condition, Christy discouraged the potential patient from seeking medical care, and berated the fact that they were even currently receiving treatment. The potential patient was also a physician, and Christy (likely unaware of this fact), went on to discourage the patient from seeking primary care, and "educate" the patient on how primary care physicians (like the potential patient themself) behaved at the potential patient's VERY OWN workplace. Christy was extremely ignorant, and unaware that most other states have more reasonable laws than Kentucky regarding telehealth appointments and prescriptions, which the patient was receiving from her longstanding healthcare provider. Christy's ignorance, or being countered with facts such as the patient is a physician who works at the institution in which Christy is "educating" on the protocols, did not stop her from voicing her judgemental opinions regarding the continuity of care this potential patient was receiving. Christy should not be allowed to work in a position that involves her speaking to patients, let alone at a psychiatrist's office.
