My family used Morgan's Funeral Home after my mother-in-law passed away. In spite of their website…read moresaying they "customize" their services to fit your needs, my sister-in-law was told they offered no extra services, just simply the space. When she asked what types of practices other families had incorporated into their services, she was met with a very unhelpful, "Every one is different." When she pushed further, explaining she had never had to do this before, she was still met with the same response. When the day of the service came, they had reserved the space for a three hour service: two hours for a visitation, with a service following immediately after for one hour. When the service began, Morgan's was provided with a copy of the program; however, after the first speaker came up, they began trying to dismiss everyone until my sister-in-law told them they were not finished. In spite of reserving the space for 3 hours, they continually felt as if they were being pressured to get out. Beware if you use this service during such a difficult time in your life, that they do not provide you with the service or support one would expect during such a difficult time.

Terrible! We just buried my mother and Renner-Wikoff wouldn't give me the time of day or allow any…read moreinput from me since my brother was the executor of the estate and signed the contract to pay the bill (which comes out of the estate not his pocket). Even though (when I complained about how I was treated) the owner told me they listened to every family member not just the bill payer that was NOT the case. I was flat out told they didn't need to listen to me because I had not signed the contract - not once was I asked for input into the service or arrangements. I had no role as the daughter and it didn't have to be that way. So, if you have family members that cannot cooperate do not use Renner-Wikoff because they are unwilling to negotiate for compromise. My opinion is they are in it for the money and will not rock the boat - at your expense (no pun intended).
