I love it because it's all so well-stocked and neatly arranged. And if you don't find immediately what you're looking for, be sure to ask for the staff behind the counter and they will be able to help you out. To be honest, design-wise this store wouldn't win a gold-medal - with its narrow aisles and quite dim lighting, but still...this is a more old-fashioned pharmacy/chemist, where customer service is valued higher than displaying the merchandise in the perfect angle!

But it also happens to be a wet shavers emporium. With a fantastic selection of soaps, creams and brushes for London gentlemen to meet their shaving needs. It also sells the best lip balm, second to none. It's my wife favourite. This unassuming yet marvelous business sells its wears all over the world and in some of the finest stores. Stopped here on my way through Paddington twice recently: once to casually look around and pick-up a loofa, a travel-size mouthwash, some paracetamol; the second time much more frantically when I was openly bleeding and needed emergency plasters (seriously and specifically, I now swear by the hydrocolloid plasters!). That was based on a discover that UK showers now have dispenser bottles, but not a small wash cloth anywhere. Bar soap was the answer and with zip lock bag already in hand, I was set. As Gayle and I were staying at the very nearby Hilton Paddington, convenience was more important than store size or serious shopping. I would have appreciated a larger selection, but I did get what I needed.
