I felt quite nervous going inside as everything looked so expensive, but I shouldn't have worried. One of the sales assistants came over to me and demonstrated the lipglosses that I was looking at, even opening a new one so I could try it. She really went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. I have to admit though, that I didn't buy (found it cheaper on eBay!) but it really is a wonderful shop if you are looking for a special gift. Nearest tube is Turnham Green on the District line. Turn left out of the station, follow right to the end to Chiswick High Road and turn left and you should see Space NK right there!

You might pay a little bit more here for lotion and stuff but trust me, it is well worth it. I highly suggest the Love My Body card for added discounts as well. Needless to say, I am thrilled to have a Body Shop within walking distance from home now. This Body Shop in particular is great. The store looks good and is fairly clean, it has a nice selection of many of the items you would expect to find in the Boots, including beauty, cosmetics, toiletries, and a selection of over the counter and prescribed medications. It also has an Opticians which is pretty handy. It would be nice if they had more staffed counters, they really seem to be pushing self-service too, not great for the elderly! 4*

I felt like a blonde Beyonce strutting down the street after I left. Staff are very inviting, offering drinks and cupcakes upon arrival. Yes cupcakes. They were very thorough when going over what I wanted. I am not very picky, so it was great to listen to their suggestions on what they thought would suit me. As far as my hair, they said they were going to take off an inch, and they only took an inch. Which is almost unheard of when I have gotten my hair cut at other salons. The décor is modern and bright with music playing and a personal tablet at each station. Drinks were also served in mason jars which was a cute addition. I dont have children but there is a childrens play area down stairs which as a mom I'm sure would be great. They have a range of spa treatments too, waxing, mani/pedi, eyebrow threading and eyelash treatments which I plan to take advantage of in the future. As for the place where they do the manicures, etc, they're actually a small section at the back corner of the shop, and they look comfortable and clean, but if you don't fancy people watching you while you have your eyebrows threaded, then you may be put off by the fact that it is not an enclosed room. My whole skin was left sticky as they don't clean. When I was dressing up, she didn't leave the room and told me I have to rush.. how ill mannered is that...
