I know there is/was black mold in the walls of that store. No thanks. I'm a little nervous about that.

Went here for the 1st time on Tuesday March 25th 2025 with my mom to get some ice cream. We…read moreactually used Google and searched "local ice cream shops", and found this cute little place. I was interested in the place because it said it was family owned. There are also 2 locations: one in Conway, SC, and the main one. oh, and don't miss this place- it is a small building located on the road, and they don't really have an eye-catching sign either, However, we were able to read the sign and it was indeed where we were going. It is a cute little ice cream place, and there was some people in there when we arrived too. They are both indoor and outdoor seating to eat your ice cream at. We then walked up to the ice cream display, and got greeted pleasantly right away. lots of flavors of Ice Cream from Cotton Candy to Mint, to Chocolate, to Cake batter, to birthday cake, to key lime pie, to many other different flavors. I decided on Cotton Candy in a cup, and my mom got Key Lime Pie in a waffle cone. Cost was only $10.00 for 2 ice creams, which is pretty cheap! We paid cash for this transaction. Think they broke a $50.00 for us. They also give a big portion for a small too! We both enjoyed our ice cream inside, and sat at a table. loved the creamy taste of the cotton candy! People at both the ice cream container and the cashier was very pleasant. Would definitely come back if we feel like Ice Cream Again!

Oh my... Kirk's Ice Cream is AMAZING!…read more If you love Blue Bell ice cream, this is your place. They have what feels like every Blue Bell flavor you could ask for, and choosing just one is almost impossible. The scoops are enormous! Every time I go, I tell myself I'm only getting one or two scoops. Then I end up ordering three because it's just that good. Somehow, after finishing it, I'm already thinking about what flavor I'm getting on my next visit. This is one of those places you have to experience for yourself. The ice cream is delicious, the portions are generous, and it's absolutely worth the stop.

It seems like every block along this highway, close to the airport area, has pancakes and ice cream. I told myself that I would try these people before I left the state. I walk into this place and it looks sort of like an old school ice cream parlor from a few decades ago. I see many barrels of ice cream and sherbet. I even see "NSA" ice cream, which means "no sugar added, which means I immediately lost interest in viewing it. They have a wide variety of flavors which included black walnut ice cream. Black walnut just doesn't seem to be found that often in the local grocery chains in the Houston Metropolitan Area. I asked for a sample of the banana pudding ice cream and the guy dug up to his elbow to get me a sample on the tiny wooden, flat spoon. I was not rushed to make a decision, and when I finally did, they gave me huge scoops of ice cream to fill my pint container. Don't judge me! Ice cream makes my soul happy. I have never been to such a generous ice cream parlor. They did have some brand I have never heard of, but they definitely had a Texas staple brand ice cream as well. I saw all those Blue Bell containers! I can't fault this place for having good taste. They have a decent price point and very friendly staff. I would definitely return here if I'm in the area. By the way, if you're curious to know what four flavors I picked: Butter pecan Praline and cream Black walnut Pistachio almond
