Despite my policy allegedly covering "all mechanical and electrical components," including specifically, "components which directly facilitate the function of the radio, CD, SAT NAV," it was news to me to be informed by Warrantywise that a micro SD card is "not an electrical component." Parts and labour to take the dashboard apart, replace the component and rebuild the software left me with a £400 bill and a distinct sense of being ripped off by all concerned.
