The staff know what they are talking about and could not do enough to help me and my family. In the process of selling I spoke to many other estate agents in the area and had mixed experiences with all of them. I dealt with James from start to finish, he always kept me informed of any progress, chased up our buyer and found me the house we are living in now! He made my transaction happen and I cant thank him enough. Out of all the estate agent's I have met James is the only one who was qualified in this field and it shows... I would recommend them to my best friend!

They sold two houses for us in under 12 weeks, a great achievement in current market conditions.(although we did reduce the price considerably) We had 5 estate agents come to value the property, but Jonathan Swire was the only one that wasn't pushy and that we felt we could trust. They are also the only estate agent to advertise your property in the local newspaper EVERY week, as well as the usual website exposure. They kept us well informed at every stage and we feel did a fantastic job - they also charged the least fee! The office is well presented and the staff are friendly and courteous. Recommended.

After speaking to a lady from Money Smart Solutions over the phone for about half an hour (this was…read moreabout 4 months ago) she went through my financial situation quite in depth and recommended benefits I could claim as I was earning a certain amount, she also gave me other advice on how I can save money and reduce my outgoings, she then sent a pack for a debt management plan. I got a pack the next day which was quite clear and easy to follow and all the figures were easy to understand and they talked me through everything. Once i sent the pack back they set up arrangements with my creditors fairly quickly, they did what they promised and so far everything is going well. I would recommend their services very highly (even though they charge a small fee) :)

I had the pleasure of speaking to Lisa from the Letting Service team, despite the fact that they were not managing my properties Lisa was more than willing to give me clear, jargon free, up to date advice on the regulations and legislation. Lisa also kindly shared with me the many common pit falls for Landlords !! My experience led me to recommending Copelands to a number of friends who now use Copelands Letting Service and as a result of their feedback and my experience with the team I have now made the decision to use the letting service. The worst company i have ever dealt with!!! We rented a house for 2 and half years from this…read morecompany and had to paint the house from head to toe due to the scuff marks and filling wholes where previous pictures had been nailed to the wall which might i add were filled with orange paint on cream walls. To add this into the picture every window area was full off green mould (despite cleaners who apparently cleaned it) and left an awful stench in the house. We had to replace the letter box as there was none on it and the fire place as it had been stood on and chipped. Not only that we also had to pay a garden to come and cut the over grown grass (knee length) and get rid off moss and rotten leaves that had piled up in the garden. The fences were damaged and broken and general maintenance of the house (Despite having the cleaning company which they use and check the house with come back TWICE) was a disgrace. However we just wanted to move in and get settled!. Through out the lease this company checked our home as standard procedure but on time and dates in which wasnt agreed. Not helpful when you work ful time and cant get anyone to meet them however the house/gardens was signed off to be clean and tidy and up to there standards every trip they had made. When my partner and I decided to leave to buy our own house we informed the company of this and gave them an estimated date of leave. In the process the company did agree to let us leave 19 days early however we were charged advertising fee of £60 along with check out fees (which they don't tell you about until leaving) in which they send you a letter through the post to tell you of this. Not only are they wishing to charge us these ridiculous fees but also after re painting the house AGAIN for the next tenants they have now agreed to move the tenant in on Monday which was never discussed between ourselves and also finding minor faults like weeds in between tiles of the garden and charging us for this and grass in which isn't long in the slightest. Can i add the grass had been cut just a week before so you can imagine the length it had grown in a week- Not much!!! With regards to a friendly and helpful service after signing the documents to the house the staff attitudes soon changed. I have never dealt with so many rude, UN helpful staff in my years. Lisa in particular! What an absolute disgraceful company i have had to deal with. I have never felt so stressed in my entire life which i do not appreciate as i am 7 months pregnant and they continue to hassle us. As a professional company would ring on a number and leave a message this company decide to call us none stop on private numbers leaving no message to call them back- Sums them up i suppose! For anyone looking to rent PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST as they rent their houses cheap however you will soon get stung at the end of it. Unlucky for us we were well aware of there antics as we were told by both our neighbours at the time but unfortunately it was too late. There is plenty more to this story however i am that worked up at their lack of co operation and the fact they are robbing us of our own money after leaving the house in a far better condition than we found it!!!!!!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!
