And finally I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rosary College Prep check it out find out more about it. Talk to people ask questions I already said it how satisfied we are and thankful. The rest of the times that I would come to pick her up, the school was dirty. On top of that their principal had issues with giving out punishments to selective children. This was uncalled for I unenrolled my student immediately. I wish catholic schools still held the title they used to. Rosary is a sad depiction of what it should be.

ACS has proven in their ability to give my children (7th and 10th grade) the best education. There…read morehas been consistent improvements over the last few years in regards to how the school is ran and most importantly the educational values. Through easy research, I have found out that ACS is rated just as high academically as any private school in the area and more than most public schools. They have a 100% graduation rate and college acceptance (as well as those that decide to serve our country or by joining the trades). No school is perfect, but knowing that if there is any concern my children have, they can go to the any of the staff and can feel comfortable discussing their issues. Being able to pray with the students and have Christian values inner-twined with the education is what is most important to our family.

Over the past couple of school years, I have learned that Parkview Christian Academy is only…read morebeneficial to the student attending the lower campus. Once middle school starts, the environment shift's drastically. I have also learned most teachers here aren't qualified. Parkview teaches their own perspective of what a Christian should be, and quite frankly, that is very unprofessional. The lower campus is growing mold, the upper campus sells expired sodas, chips, and other treats. Last year was parkviews downfall after they hired a principle by the name of Kerri mccastland. The principle only showed up about 5 times a month, if that. The days she would show up, she would yell at students at a voice not even a mother could scream at her child with, and the way she would try and "resolve" problems was very inappropriate for a principal. She would bring the student into the office and talk to them in a tone so unprofessional, it was as if the student was talking to their peers. At the end of the discussion, there was no discipline, it was as if she just wanted to yell at them with the student getting no point across, just getting yelled at. When students tried reporting something, instead of resolving it, it would be a one sided argument. They're was a front desk employee named Mary Ellen West, she was always gossiping with the principle, locked in the office, and often times students would sit in the lobby, waiting for them to finish gossiping. Point-blank-period, Parkview Christian Academy was terrible

I'm so disappointed to write this review, but I feel like it is my only option as Prairie School…read morehas not communicated with me in over five weeks. After touring the school, we applied to the pre-k program for early consideration (2/10/25). While communication prior to the tour and the application was quick and helpful, we started to run into problems after our application and fee were collected. To keep this as brief as possible, we reached out regarding timing of the decision on applications three times (both by email and phone call) to finally be responded to nearly five weeks past the first email. Once we received notification that we were placed on a waitlist and "...should a space in the class become available, the enrollment committee will ensure that your application receives thorough consideration..." we had a couple clarifying questions regarding the waitlist and the review process (as it is worded, it sounds as though our application was not even reviewed). We have not heard back from the school in five weeks. We have tried multiple email addresses, including the enrollment coordinator we had been communicating with, in addition to calling the school. Unfortunately, my experience with Prairie School is this: To apply, a family must dedicate time to attend a tour, complete a lengthy application, and pay a $150 non-fundable fee to ultimately not even have your application reviewed (which leads me to wonder what the fee is for, if not payment for the time/resources it takes to review a family's application). Additionally, the school does not respond to questions regarding the application process once your payment is made. As I'm writing this it sounds so wild! I would not recommend looking into this school.

Having been around gifted children, I've seen how difficult traditional schools can be for them and that sometimes they are not being challenged, but here they cater to exactly what the child needs. The school has a very open floor plan that allows the teachers to have a bit more freedom to teach each child how they need and want to learn. The school itself is very clean and tidy, with plenty of books, some instruments, and technology for the students.
