This year right before Labor Day, Ruby started heyvery lethargic, eventually stopped eating. I was able to get in as soon as I called into the office the same day. Turns out she developed very quickly a deadly autoimmune disease. The vets and tech were very attentive and listened to every question I had. And understood that of course we had to act quickly not just for health but also because we were moving out of state. We got a course of action very quickly and had many visits up until the day we moved and they followed up with our new vet as soon as I got them out new information. A glad to say our dog is doing well and has stabilized with their help and care and continued care we have.

One night this week as we were going through our daily grooming ritual, I felt a lump on my cockapoo that was roughly the size of a walnut. This was in an area where I clean daily and it hadn't been there the night before so I was worried. I called Halfmoon Valley Animal Hospital early the following morning and asked for an emergency appointment for the next day. I didn't even ask for a same day appointment knowing how busy they always are so I was surprised when they offered me an appointment for the same afternoon which I gratefully accepted. They diagnosed an issue their groomer had missed (on both of them), rectified it and crises over. I felt like I received an incredible gift with my dogs being patients of this practice. No matter the issue, regular checkup, medications, or emergency visits the vets, assistants and office staff show professionalism, compassion and patience with each issue. They treat my dogs with genuine kindness and gentleness and the more I depend on my dogs as my service animals the more I tend to forget that they aren't human. Fortunately, they strike a perfect balance and I'm grateful for their services. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who has pets that may be more like family as after several years patronage they have never let me down. Thank you

Homeopathy is just one of Dr. Doyle's areas of expertise, however, as she is trained and licensed as a conventional vet as well. I no longer am willing to subject my companion animals to the palliative and immune-system suppression pharmacological treatments that are typical of veterinarians today. Dr. Doyle is wholistic in her approach, and I appreciate her being there for my animals, even if it means driving an hour each way.

We had an urgent situation and Blair animal was able to get us in quickly and help get our pup at…read morethe time urgent care. We also go there for our dog who is a rescue and has significant mental issues from prolonged trauma, we took him to Blair animal for a second opinion and they didn't give up. Although behavioral euthanasia is a very real possibility they were willing to understand we wanted to keep trying but also be there if we needed to make the call.. he is is still with us and we are still fighting. We had to get him sedated for his nails and there's a special room to help keep the animals calm and it makes it a lot less stressful. Everyone is so caring and tolerable with me when I have 101 questions and feel like Im being annoying because I am constantly calling with questions and concerns for said dog and they have always been extremely helpful for us.
