It's a caprese style fried cheese. It was wonderful and just the right amount for being an appetizer. I enjoyed the tomato's and basil and balsamic parts so much. I ordered the med rare ribeye and husband had chicken fried steak. My steak was great..maybe a little under in the middle but that's better than being over. I also ordered the chimichurri sauce. I didn't like it as much. I prefer fresh. Steak had great flavor and we finished it up. Husband said Chicken fried steak also good. It was a little over (he's picky about chicken fried steak...most people wouldn't even notice lol) but it was crispy and the gravy was good. Talked to the waitress when we paid, they all work very hard to keep their customers happy so we didn't see her much. It took a little while for us to get our food but we entertained ourselves watching the football games on tv. If they took a little longer, we were about to go play some pool. She suggested going on a weekday for a more less busy "quieter" dinner as Saturday's and Fridays are more active. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and enjoying themselves. I also heard the funnel fries were good but they were sold out when got there...guess that says something in itself...it's very popular. It's not the "fanciest" place in the world but if you want a great steak, I'd give this place a chance. Great service and great food. We will be back.
